I confess. It was me. I kept going back to the car and changing my hat or shirt and going back in. Judicial watch.
Nope, I'm claiming there's no evidence to support the claim, and certainly not enough to justify the cost in terms of disenfranchised eligible voters. You're also putting words in my mouth now, combined with the lie you told in the previous post it's getting tough to keep having this conversation. You can't even stay within the bounds of what's actually been said. So, check post #33, show me some evidence and then we can proceed.
Show me evidence of your claim that only widespread voter fraud could effect an election. Why does it have to be widespread to effect an election and would only do so if it is widespread? You know that canard I called out.
Required by laws. You would rather keep dead people and people who no longer live in the district ON the voter rolls?
Never said that, having a conversation with someone that lies about what you've said is absolutely not worthwhile. Are you as dishonest in real life or is this just because you were painted into a corner? Attack strawmans all you like, I won't be playing along. Read post #33, drop some evidence in this thread or tuck tail, like you should have done eons ago.
no, this was not required by law, they were purging more then dead people and you know it, and when you do purges, do them after an election, not immediately before one - if they were only removing people that died, there would be no issues send out notifications to last known addresses and give people time to re-register if removed in error
You "The "truth" is, you not going to produce a single piece of evidence that demonstrates large numbers of voters who should not be. Cheating by way of fake or fradulent voters has been a boogeyman used to disenfranchise folks. I'll wait here, you guys go find us a study showing widespread voter fraud in a major US election. While you're out, also bring back the track grease and bit bucket." So you are admitting voter fraud DOES occur, will thats a step towards the truth. Now prove that it takes widespread voter fraud to effect an election, that canard I'm calling you on, and tell me how may it would have taken last year to determine which party would controls the Virginia statehouse.
Regular vote purging is required by law so unless you want to end vote purging............................and I also said people who move out of the district why did you leave that out? And they do as you said they should.
No let's find out what you believe now, if you believe it does occur then there is no reason for me to prove anything to you. So are you saying voter fraud never occurs? I'm not the one claiming it has to be widespread to effect an election I have no obligation to prove it does.
I believe in withholding judgement in the face of a lack of evidence. So, just to recap, you lied about what I said, misrepresented my words and now trying to force me to prove a negative. And all because I simply asked for evidence of this ghost we're supposed to be terrified of. Several posts now, and no ghost footage. Maybe I don't have enough faith!
So right now you have no idea if voter fraud EVER occurs, if fact you believe it may have never occurred and may never occur. And that no one has ever found a incident of voter fraud and no one has ever posted a post her showing a single case of voter fraud. Do I have that right? Let's recap, the canard is that voter fraud only matters and can only effect an election if it is widespread. Do you adhere to that? Do you believe that?
I agree that illegal voting DOES happen. But I would contend that it is extremely rare. Most reported incidents of voter fraud are actually traceable to other sources, such as clerical errors or bad data matching practices. A comprehensive 2014 study published in The Washington Post found 31 credible instances of impersonation fraud from 2000 to 2014, out of more than 1 billion ballots cast. Even this tiny number is likely inflated, as the study’s author counted not just prosecutions or convictions, but any and all credible claims.
Holy crap, 1 billion ballots casted in a nation of 327 million. Kinda like California that has more registered voters than eligible voters.
How many fraudulent votes would it have taken to determine which party controls the Virginia statehouse in their election last year?s The WaPO engaged in the folly of tally up ALL the votes cast between 2000 and 2014 in the thousands of elections thatt were held as if it was just one 14 year election. Just look at how many close elections just THIS election cycle in the hundreds of separate unique elections that occurred.
Amazing how when a race is close and the Democrat wins no uncounted ballots are found, when a Republican wins in a close race miraculously bags and boxes of uncounted ballots appear from no where.
Then I'm sure you're as worried about the election fraud perpetrated by Kemp in Georgia right ? Or Trump when he claimed they were working on "tax breaks for the middle class" just days before the election, knowing full well they were not. These actions have a much bigger effect on the vote than Pepe casting his vote four county commissioner in lower bumfuckt county.. If you're truly worried about the vote, then you would be for allowing the Broward county votes, turned in 2 minutes late, to be counted right ? Those voters did nothing wrong, but those on the right fought to make sure they didn't count. Was that the voters fault ? If you and yours TRULY want honest elections, then you would support allowing EVERY legal voter the right to vote in equal conditions right ?
The "comprehensive study" was conducted by a liberal loon professor who has a political agenda. Prof. Justin Levitt is listed as a member of the "Left’s Army of Election Law “Experts”: Election Fraud Cases from Across the United States The Heritage Foundation’s Election Fraud Database presents a sampling of proven instances of election fraud from across the country. This database is not an exhaustive or comprehensive list, but is intended to demonstrate the many ways in which fraud is committed. Preventing, deterring, and prosecuting election fraud is essential to protecting the integrity of our voting process. Note: Only those who were caught (the 1% ?) and convicted. Last Tuesday (election night) was very interesting. California new election laws allow someone to register and vote on election day after the precinct polls have closed. At midnight at the Los Angeles County Registrar office in Norwalk there were thousands lined up registering and voting four hours after the polls closed. They called it a BLUE Wave.
