Julian wants to see the system crash and burn, he shouldn't be trusted. I think there are a lot of problems with the established systems, but I think we need reform and not revolution. I think Assange either collaborated with Russia or was used as a useful idiot to try to interfere with the election. The fact he is lying about the source of the emails has me thinking Assange collaborated with Russia, and perhaps even the Trump administration.

And I am merely highlighting the irony of Republicans getting amnesia concerning the history of Richard Nixon's presidency.

Clemency CAN mean pardon OR commutation, so we're both right/wrong.

I don't see how they can press charges when it was WaPo and The Guardian that published the Snowden docs and no charges were filed against either outlet. It's ironic that the Guardian is so anti Assange after what they did with Snowden. The Kavanaugh thing will hurt later and for a long time. Hell, people are still talking about Bork.
