SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — On the heels of President Donald Trump's repeated assertions claiming anti-conservative bias by tech companies, the White House has launched an online form asking people to share their experiences if they think political partisanship has led them to be silenced by social media sites.

The White House's official Twitter account tweeted a link to the form Wednesday, saying that "The Trump Administration is fighting for free speech online." The tweet continues that "no matter your views, if you suspect political bias has caused you to be censored or silenced online, we want to hear about it!" http://www1.cbn.com/cbnnews/politic...eport-anti-conservative-bias-from-tech-giants This is indeed good news. It’s about time that the owners of social media and other online media sites are put in their place and required to serve all viewpoints as a cost of being in business. Also by agreeing to serve all points of view they have certain rights and privileges that they are now not deserving of because of so called community standards that are really content control and censorship.

https://whitehouse.typeform.com/to/Jti9QH This is the link in the Associated Press article above to where and how to report internet providers who engage in source or viewpoint discrimination against their members.

I have used the White House site to send them info on some sites on line. I sent them info on a so called bias fact checker Media Bias Fact Check and it’s anti conservative and anti Christian bias in their rating and indirect censoring of sites through 3rd party’s. The same for the SPLC. It’s great to have a President in office having the backs of conservatives using internet providers.

Kudo's to Trump for addressing this.

There is a systematic persecution of conservatives online, and the leftists at these tech companies have (surprise!) decided to silence opposing viewpoints.

Never mind data privacy issues from these leftist groups.

Here is a liberal talking about some of the response.

They are. But the big ones in question agreed to be fair hosts of all political opinion in order to have certain shields vs libel and defamation/slander laws. They can’t both be biased and have those protections. They most be forced to choose one or the other.

    1. When did they ever agree to the bolded?
    2. What constitutes a "big company"? This site, for example, can boot whoever they want off of it. At what point do you think sites shouldn't be able to do that?

Google, You Tube, Twitter, Facebook are the usual suspects here. They are the ones who have those government protections.

Since the user agreement gives the White House blanket authority to use the contact information that the suckers have to hand over in order to “report” anything, I wouldn’t be too surprised if the lists are forwarded to various right wing groups and the RNC. It would be classic Trump.

Scam the audience with a website designed to reinforce a right wing talk radio meme, peddling the contact info for profit, and getting the taxpayers to pay for it.

I was confused by your poll question to begin with.

All the more so since none of the companies you mention here are ISP’s.

You do know what an ISP is, don’t you?

So..... even though you thread title is deceptive this is about any political bias?

Then it should be OK to defend radical Islamic sites?

Well done you in using a click bait survey using a foreign based company called typeform created in Barcelona asking for personal details

    As so I.

But Trump won't be around forever (after 2024) and more needs to be done, and quickly.

Censorship is big with the left, so the sooner the better.

Hopefully, President Trump can restore Internet Freedom.

If the Social Media would be heavily censored during the 2020 Election, then Biden may happen.
