    Currently ...
and also as far as a look and weighing up of possible developments in the future makes sense.
And before you ask how far it makes sense: 10 years! ;-)

Uninteresting and pointless to look so far into the future. For that the planet rotates around the sun too often and too much can happen, as if one can say something with meaning, etc.!

Which means that you cannot rule out a time that the UK would need the US. Point proved.

Ehm ... during the next 10 years for sure not ... and for anything after these 10 years it does not matter, because no one can argue! So it is wrong use this argument from your side. My point proved ;-)

Look on the start of dicussion and what you told there ... UK will dependant on the US to help if being attacked ... right?

And I answered against which enemy please ... and this was the startimng of it.

So ... during the next 10 years there is no threat for what is possible to attack the UK and so the UK would be dependant on US help... and whjat will be in further future is uninteresting.

Not quite. If the UK is invaded, who assists the UK realistically?

Really ... shal we start the whole thing again?

This question you asked is irrelevant, becaue there is today and within the next 10 years no one given who will invade the UK ... so where is no threat, then there is no question like this given!
And what will be in more as 10 years in future is uninteresting... Got it now?

But ... to please you: As far as NATO is existing, the rest of NATO members in Europe will help the Brits. if the US will do too, I can't say, because there is nearly nothing of fighting capacity worth to name left in Europe which can help fast enough!

"Nearly nothing of fighting capacity worth to name?"
Is this you saying that NATO is useless as a fighting force without the US?
