Well, when you get to create the definition to only represent the thing you want to castigate, it's easy for the left to cry about being right here. The fact that most violence that clearly reflects negatively about how their policy has devastated this nation, well, they aren't having any of that.

Except that.. well.. it actually can be directly linked to their policies, their morality, their failures, etc. And yes, it is time that we actually have to make folks aware of just how dangerous to this nation progressivism is these days.

But muslims only make up 1% of the population. I mean white people are about 70 of the population, so I would expect a number like that all else being equal. However, muslims are 1% of the population and should account for 1% of the terrorism, not 25%. This means that a muslim is many many times more likely to be involved in terrorism.

 

Have you read any of the manifestos? They explain it there. Although the El Paso guy's manifesto was uploaded to 8 chan by someone else, and not the shooter, it is still an interesting read. He cites changing demographics with no choice or recourse, gloomy economic outlooks, and even the environmental impact of too many Americans using resources and harming the environment. In short, it sounds like he was wound up by the news. All of his concerns mirror the scare stories in the media.
He also mentions that Trump has failed to control immigration or curb identity politics, and that people like him no longer have any voice. His views can not be seen on TV, not shared on facebook, and not even discussed by politicians. Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable and so on. He even mentions how the media will portray him and connect him to Trump, which they did.

He doesn't seem like a stupid guy, if he did indeed write it. He just seems like someone with no voice who is frustrated and sees no way of this getting better. This leads to stupid conclusions. Like in 1 part he mentions not attacking police because it is tactical to live to fight another day, but a few sentences earlier he said he knew he was going to die. It's like all the info swirled around in his head and he just didn't see clearly anymore.
My problem with it is, it follows a cut out pattern of people trying to spark a race war through a horrific event. The New Zealand guy was the same. Even the Manson family murders were the same. I don't know what it means. It just seems like a weird motivation considering it has not worked at all in the past.

Yes, our brown friend representing both his city, and his marvellously peaceful noble religion .. has assured us that terrorism isn't a biggie. The clear suggestion being that to discuss it overmuch is racist. We got that much from his pronouncements, if nothing else.

You can take it the bank: anyone suggesting a 'terrible problem with white supremacist terrorism' is clearly a flaming racist, and Mr Khan condemns you. And he's brown, so we have to believe him.
