    - 67% that support "Medicare for All" think they will be able to keep their current plans

    - 41% that oppose it think they would be able to keep their current plans, while 51% think they would not

While both sides do not have an understanding that they will absolutely lose their private plans, those that oppose have a more accurate view of reality.

It would be "medicare for all" except the elite. bernie isn't going to stand in line for health care, and neither is Tom Steyer, or Bloomberg. The ruling elite are not going to subject themselves and their millionaire & billionaire donors to that nonsense.

If it is free healthcare then why is the cost of it a factor? Free is free, right?

LOL! Can't believe the commies are trying to pull this crap. Promising "free stuff" in order to gain power.

taking that a step further, I think its safe to assume that all congresspersons would have a separate health plan, not M4A.

They may be nuts, but they aren't stupid, that little blurb will be buried somewhere on page 440 paragraph 6.

You are so right. Does anyone think for a second that the Hollywood or Political elite are going to wait 2 hours in a waiting room full of the unwashed people that are not on their level? No ****ing way. They, all of them, will have their own doctors, anyone that believes this will not be true is stupid beyond help.

Socialism creates two classes. The masses 99% and the Super Elites 1%. They will destroy our freedoms, economic success, and way of life. It's what they do for the sake of power and control.

They tried to do that with the ACA, regarding different States(and plans) It wasn't accurately reflected on the record, but this(among other concerns) is the ORIGINAL reason for the 2013 shutdown. The Tea Party Republicans complained: "Why some states and not others? You should give that reprieve to everybody. Or at the very least, have a one year slowdown while all of this is fixed.' It turned out due to the glitching website that the one year slowdown was absolutely necessary.

And yet to this day, there are those who blame the Tea Party Republicans for essentially doing the right thing. This is why our politics is corrupted, when doing the right thing isn't rewarded.

Well, the confusion might be because multiple Dem candidate are promising different Medicare For All plans.

This exactly. For instance, Buttigieg's plan would let people keep their current insurance, yet he still calls it a "Medicare for all" plan.

And you believe that doesn’t already exist? The only difference is that currently 10% of the 99% have no reasonable access to healthcare.

We kind of have that now between people who can afford their healthcare (including all the co-pays and deductibles) and people who can't.

The majority of western countries (including Australia and New Zealand) have both universal public and private healthcare systems.

I don't see why we can't at least shoot for that and it seems more and more people are reaching that conclusion.

Even if someone like Sanders were elected he'd never get M4A through congress. He might be able to swing a public option on the ACA though. I think that would be both doable and extremely popular.

Well he actually calls it a "medicare for all who want it" plan if you want to be accurate. Which would presume that people who wanted to stay private could. It's really another way of saying "public option".

I'm late 50s and rarely sick. If I get the occasional knee or back problem I go to an acupuncturist. I'd happily take even a bare-bones public option if it reduced my monthly outgoings on something I seldom even use.

The Republican and conservative lies never stop!

NO Medicare for All plans prohibit people with extra money to buy upgrading to insurance to get hold gold plated wheelchairs and miniskirt nurses with DD cup bodices!

Look at Medicare! A basic plan for a reasonable price, and then people can add goodies galore or get utterly private plans discounted by whatever Medicare Basic plans!

Don't believe the propaganda lies from Republicans! They don't even make sense! The USA pays DOUBLE of what some of the best healthcare countries pay!

    Don't buy the Republican suckerbait!

Democrats/neo-commies goal is one payer, government run healthcare from top to bottom. Their want private healthcare to be illegal. They will deny this just like they deny wanting to ban guns or being for open borders.

Democrats/neo-commies want to put all the evil Americans on to a single system then force them to compete with needy homeless foreign nationals here illegally from all over earth for healthcare meant for and paid for by Americans.
