Well, considering that blacks represent 12% of the population and yet commit 53% of the murders, you cannot with a straight face say that race means nothing in that calculation. I would surely look to their behavior and style of dress far more, but being young black males would not be a factor that would create a sense of ease, nor would it for the black man accompanying me on that forlorn journey through the ghetto. Everyone inherently knows whom is most likely to represent danger. It is not a mystery regardless of your race.

And 12.3% committed 27% of all crime, 35% of all violent crime, and 99% responsible for killing other blacks, as opposed to hysteria over a tiny number of police who were mostly later cleared, after things like realistic toy weapons pointed at cops are taken into account.

Are there bad cops? Why else do large departments have Internal Affairs Divisions? But even the so-called Rat Squad knows damn well to have the evidence stand up in court or don't bring it at all. To claim cops are the issue is to deny reality itself.

Only 0.000018 of lightning strikes harm a person in the US each year. Do you climb a tree in the back yard when a thunderstorm rolls in?

Only 0.00014 of motor vehicles kill someone each year. Would we say seat belt usage and looking for traffic at intersections is irrational?

Indeed. I agree -- men commit 90% of crimes, but the vast majority of men are not criminals. Some feminists view all men as dangerous, racists view all minority people as dangerous, some Social Darwinists view all people with Mental Disability as dangerous. Prejudice is wrong.

That table shows arrests not convictions. What percentage of those arrested that were released without charge were black or were white?

 

That assumes each murderer murdered just one person or committed just one violent crime. The actual figures would show that less than ".0001 of blacks committed a murder"
