What I can't quite understand is...though I agree with the Democratic/Progressive political views,
and disagree completely with the GOP, I feel more comfortable...or at ease talking to a right leaning person than a left

    The Centrist likes this.

The Dems can't afford to run a real candidate against Trump's certain reelection. Biden is a placeholder until AOC is old enough to run...and I looked hard at the timing on when she has to file for the office: before she's old enough. That should be a nice wrinkle at the end of Trump's second term.

Can a nitwit win against Vice President Pence? Assuming she hasn't been voted out locally by then? Doubtful.

Apply that generally and hostility would de-escalate dramatically.

I understand the reflexive reaction because of the manufactured hatred for Hillary but you can hardly be proud of possessing the attributes she describes deplorables as having.

One must first believe even one syllable which escapes that vile crone's pie-hole.

Probably true....but it would have to be administered by both sides to be effective...
and when you're dealing with white people....it's a long shot

So you have no idea how politics works. Not exactly a surprise.

There is a war in the Dem party between the Progressives and the Corporate wing. In the 60s and 70s the East Coast Establishment ran the Republican party. Now they run the Dem party, I call them the Corporate wing.

They would never admit it, but the corporate types hate the Progressives, look at what they did to Bernie 4 years ago.

Biden won the nomination because he's one of their leaders. Obama picked him as a message to the Establishment ( I use that and Corporate almost interchangeably) that he wouldn't rock the boat too much.

This is also a generational shift. In Congress, most of the Progressives are young, and the Establishment is like Biden, really old.

I think 2024 will be won by the party that embraces the future. Assuming either side does. If it's more of the same, meh.

Neither do American Indians "seem to thrive in a White society" aside from the nitch they have found with casinos.
Like Blacks, the Indians were also treated and viewed as "less than" by white people.
Those emotional scars get passed on through generations.
Easy for narcissistic white folks to say..."just get over it".
Not so easy for the ones who have to deal with it every day simply because they don't have white skin.

Lol...well at least the label "Progressives" sounds a bit more on the positive side
    than "Good ol Boys Party".
The latter sounds more like a KKK gathering

Pence will not run for President. Can you name any vice president that wasn't less impressive than the president he served?

How about Lyndon Johnson? Kennedy was all flash, Johnson had substance.

Does the perpetuation of these emotional scars create an impression of white supremacy in blacks? Are other non-white races stifled by the perpetuation of emotional scars?

Johnson lost against Kennedy, and Johnson was a one term president, just like Bush Sr who lost against Reagan in the primary.

PERPETUATION: 1. the act of prolonging something.
Possibly yes. But it's not just the scars from the past to deal with,,,,
the "less than" attitude toward people of certain cultures by the whites continues today and may even be accelerating.

Much like I am waiting for you to explain why you believe the 15th amendment requires the states to hold an election for their presidential electors.

Pence. He's a religious zealot and a Trump enabler but there is no indication he would have been as catastrophic as the Orange Menace.

According to people who are emotionally scarred? Or is there some objective way to measure that doesn't require the divination of unconscious bias?

What does this have to do with Pence's potential to be elected by people who voted for Trump to do exactly what Trump is doing?

Why yes, I think you nailed it. Have we met before because you sound like we've met before.
So then, did you take a knee at morning and evening colors?

If you want to comment on the video don't you think it would be helpful if you watched it?
