A nonissue when most supermarkets will fetch your order and hand it to you, free or for a nominal charge, at the curb.
What makes you think people avoiding grocery stores "waste their life sitting in the basement?"
    Okay.
The only people I've seen wearing a mask in a vehicle are delivery drivers. You must live in a strange community.

Depends on where you live. Where I live, it's encouraged but absolutely not a requirement. Let me guess, you wear a mask everywhere and judge others who don't wear one? You strike me as someone that would call the cops if someone wasn't wearing a mask lol!

Yeah, the guy was likely wearing an inexpensive mask. Bad news. I've done drywalling.
Hence, we should provide people with quality respirators.
My favorite screwup are pols wadding up or folding up their mask and putting it in their pocket.
All the more reason to protect yourself with a quality respirator.

And they do make a difference for the wearer.

Republicans are the ones angling to let small business eat it. Hydroxychloroquine doesn't work.

I've been waiting a long time yet none of these jr, backseat scientists have been able to produce any semblence of strong scientific evidence sufficient to reject the null hypothesis(masks do not reduce incidence of disease from respiratory virus).

I'm not reckless because I could infect others close to me, and one person has a compromised immune system.
    Don't be absurd.

    The CDC:

"These guides recommend that health care workers entering the room of a SARS patient and medical transport workers transporting a patient with suspected SARS use the following:
    • Standard precautions (e.g., hand hygiene)
    • Contact precautions (e.g., use of gown and gloves for contact with the patient or their environment)
    • Eye protection for all patient contact
    • A respirator that is at least as protective as an N-95 respirator approved by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH)"
    https://www.cdc.gov/niosh/npptl/topics/respirators/factsheets/respsars.html

So, why do you think the CDC recommends an N95 or better respirator when "entering the room of a SARS patient and medical transport workers transporting a patient with suspected SARS?"[/QUOTE]
Anyway, I've cited and quoted mask and respirator studies. They're all over the internet.

We should be working towards people protecting themselves, not getting into fights with people who don't want to wear a mask. That said, the public may insist the government take other steps to cut virus transmission, including closing the bar you frequent.

Not a single randomized controlled study, with incidence of disease as a primary endpoint. Not one.

    Try harder next time

You have lots of opinions and no evidence supporting them.

I'm not interested in the exercise. There are a lot of living and breathing health care workers who wear high-quality PAPR and would otherwise have been infected. You can spend your time looking for other explanations.

I was a moderator on Compuserve for ten years and am today a moderator on another forum. I know a personal attack when I see it. You are, as I said, full of opinions and devoid of support for them. You talk trash in an effort to fill the void.

Of course people could forgo their masks and wear real respirators, all of which have check valves which allows the wearer to exhale unfiltered breath and unless equipped with just the fight filters will not protect the wearer either.

Yea they are more money, but ya get what you pay for, go cheap, get sick, not my problem.

But than again it's Darwin at work, CV-19 tends to weed out the weak and infirm, which is not all that bad is it.

And truth be told the only reason and the only places I wear one, which is only for my own protection and no one else's, are in high risk areas like Ft Myers and Broward where the stores are very crowded, with no chances of avoiding inhaling the breath of others, as far as others, the way I see it is, if someone else doesn't want to buy the correct PPE and thinks a mask will protect them, go for it, but don't whine when you catch something nasty.

Respirators are also real handy for filtering out odor of people who like to bathe in cologne or perfume before getting dressed, their smells are so strong sometimes they can kick off an asthma attack and the other end of the spectrum, those who dont take a shower but once a month or less.

But that's big city living for ya, a bunch of so called people living like rats packed in a cage all hating each other and ready to fight at the drop of a pin.

There is an old saying, trying to stop a virus with a mask, is like trying to stop mosquitoes with a chain link fence.

Taint working, but masks do make people feel better about themselves and when it comes down to it with most of society as dumbed down as it is, that's all that matters. .

Strange times and strange communities. Unelected career bureaucrats tell people what to wear, and they do as they are told, no questions asked.

Mass hysteria rules the world, though at least there are some who understand the stealth virus is no worse than the flu.

    Scamdemic

    "
"Unless a contagious person is coughing/sneezing a mask likely does little to reduce the strength of the virus spreading".

So a mask does reduce the spread of the virus, and at very little cost or inconvenience
