Ahhh so for the Biden Family influence peddling syndicate it's back to all ahead full speed.

    • President Joe Biden’s brother Frank promoted his relationship to the commander-in-chief in an Inauguration Day advertisement for the law firm he advises.
    • Frank Biden is a non-attorney senior advisor for the Berman Law Group. In an email to CNBC, Frank Biden said he has not used his brother’s name to gain clients.
    • It’s not the first time Frank Biden or a member of the Biden family has touted the family name in business dealings.
Yea do it and then just deny it and the MSM will go along.

"The ad focuses on a lawsuit the firm is leading against a group of Florida sugar cane companies. It features a photo of Frank Biden, along with quotes regarding his relationship with the incoming president and the family name.

In an email to CNBC, Frank Biden said he has not used his brother’s name to gain clients.

“I have never used my brother to obtain clients for my firm. Our firm has long been involved [with] this lawsuit. Social justice is something I have been involved in for years,” Frank Biden said. “I will never be employed by any lobbyist or lobbying firm.”"

ROFL note the deflection, it doesn't matter how long he's been in THIS lawsuit. Unbelievable the lies and deceit in this family to feed at the public trough and enrich themselves.

"After CNBC emailed the co-founders of the firm, Matthew Moore, one of Berman Law Group’s attorneys, responded on the office’s behalf. CNBC had asked the firm whether Frank Biden will be continuing to use the Biden name in future ads while his brother is president, among other questions. The firm’s response did not provide answers to those questions."

"A White House spokeswoman did not respond to a request for comment."

All that transparency and honesty and openness!

All they will all say is what GREAT guy he is as if saying so that makes anything he does OK.

"ABC News detailed earlier last year many of the occasions that he used his name to assist companies and groups associated with him. In 2011, Frank Biden invoked his last name when his brother was vice president.

Politico and other outlets reported during the 2020 presidential election about other attempts by members of the Biden family, including the president’s son Hunter and his other brother, James, to use their last name during business opportunities. Hunter Biden announced in December that he was under investigation for his “tax affairs” by federal prosecutors in Delaware."

Let the excuses and deflections begin...........how many before the deflections to Trump?

What the hell is a non attorney senior advisor to a law firm???? Shouldn't the lawyers know the law without needing a senior advisor??

So a blatant display of hypocrisy by AJ is the thread winner?

    You should set higher standards.

If/when evidence emerges that President Biden is using his position to advantage his brother he should face whatever consequences are appropriate. Unless & until such evidence arises we just have a guy pumping up his own tyres. Admirable behaviour? not especially. Worthy of the hysteria it is going to attract? not remotely.

If it is acceptable for one then it is acceptable for all others in the future. Would you like one of us to explain precedent to you?

We tried to warn everyone but I received a lot of “your TDS is showing” “if you don’t like it leave” “elections have consequences” “f*** your feelings”

    Oh well

Or maybe one of us can explain hypocrisy to you.

The left did nothing but call the trump family criminals for 4 years and investigate them unlike anything ever done before. But now......no biggie....different last name, D instead of R....we're cool now.

The left’s response to how the Bidets gets their wealth is predictable: obedient.

No doubt that'll be their go-to excuse for 4 years. Any political party that has 100% backing guaranteed, regardless of their lies is thought to be invincible. It just shows how little respect any of them have for the common sense of the common man. I've stopped being depressed after this election was stolen. First, because there's nothing I can do to correct it but more importantly, I have ZERO DOUBT that these Marxists will quickly overreach enough to cause widespread anger against them and possibly their media 5th column as well.

I'm sure he is as essential to that firm as Hunter was to the Ukrainian oil enterprise. Come on, man... they still have to at least go through the motions while they accept their graft.

The United States has an interesting mix of third worldism and british monarchy when it comes to nepotism and politicians.
congressional seats are taken over by spouses, sons and daughters get to run as politicians uniquely on the qualifications of their parents, and political dynasties are admired. I know of no other country like that, and this has been going on for centuries here.
Frat boy Matt Gaetz gets to be in congress, Hillary gets to run for president, Kennedys get to run for whatever they like and this going on for 50 years, the Bush dynasty would still be going with Jeb and Prescott waiting in the wings if W hadn't screwed the pooch so bad.
    I find this nepotism despicable.
Ivanka and Jared installed in the White House on day one should have made the whole country puke.
Instead, Trump sickos are wearing tshirts with all the Trump family members and the year of their possible inauguration in the future.
Now what Frank Biden is doing is distasteful in my opinion: it implies access to power to be able to drum up business. It is no sursprise that ex politicians often ended up working in law firms. It was not for their brilliant legal work clearly but for their access to power or at least implied access to power. This is a real problem in US business and politics.
I do hope that we find a way to end this, and I certainly hope that joe tells frank to stop using his name to sell his business.
But let's be clear, anyone who is shocked by this (where the fault lies with the brother) who didnt become apoplectic when ivanka and jared were seated at the table is a first class hypocrite. to allow that to happen and accept it was a travesty of democracy

I disagree we are “cool” now, we are worse off because of four years of excuses made by the trumpers. Democrats will take this new normal and run with it.

My views are consistent, so yes — please give me your definition of hypocrisy because I know you didn’t say **** when lord cheato did way worse

so, he is not a politician, he can do whatever he wants

now the Trump family that worked at the White House promoting their own businesses, that was a real issue

if Biden hired his family to work at the white house and they pushed their own businesses, that would also be an issue

    Yeah. I don't think so.
First of all, I think I have made it abundantly clear how much I despise nepotism. I also find the ad by Frank Biden's law firm distasteful.
I think that JFK chosing RFK as the Attorney General was almost criminal. As much as I like Hillary and admire her competence, the fact that she was Bill's wife should not have made her insta eligible to be the dem nominee.
But please. There is no comparison between someone using their closeness to power to benefit themselves (mostly through giving the illusion of having that power themselves) and someone who is in actual power using that power to benefit thmesleves and their family.
W Bush for example benefitted from his closeness to power pretty much his whole life, from his admission to Andover and Yale where he was the senator's son, to his forays in the oil business, to his first go at politics. I hate that, but let's not pretend that that is not how the world turns.
But those advantages as unpleasant as they are pale in comparisson to apointing your daughter and son in law in the White House. That is straight Ali Bongo territory (or any of the other family run kleptocracies of the most corrupt African countries).

So yes. You have me on record saying that this is pretty distasteful and I don't like it.
But I have posted before anout nepotism in politics here and during the Trump presidency, and you know what I got back. Absolute crickets.
So anybody being sanctimonious about this right now needs to do a real reality check on where they stand on nepotism
