The GOP lawyers admitted that their changes would discriminate against specific demographics that are more likley to vote for Democratic policy.

Enhancing discrimination is NOT OK. Assaulting democracy is NOT OK.

Discrimination, assault on democracy, can NOT BE JUSTIFIED on the basis that the person arguing AGAINST discrimination might benefit.

And I have to ask -- are not polling place in GA set up by local Governments? If so then why are black run Governments, i.e., localities with a majority of black votes setting up an inadequate number of polling places?

I have come to believe that the boycott/buy-cott is the best tool conservatives have. I learned that from Dems! The MLB has more conservative fans than any sport, with the possible exception of Nascar. Let's make MLB regret getting into GA election law.

I would assume that some voter in Detroit might have to deal with longer lines there than I would have in the small town where I live.

Note that when I voted early here in Tennessee blacks and whites were in the same line. Are you suggesting there are separate lines for blacks?

I don't know where you pulled that snip from (always nice to post a link), but if it was DIRECTLY from the actual law, we have a bigger problem than I feared, with a typo and a clear grammatical error...

Also, that section says a poll officer isn't prevented from doing those things... I wouldn't put my faith in some of the poll officers in Georgia...

It would be a lot easier just to do what it takes to ensure nobody has to wait more than 1 hour (max) to complete the entire process...

The law as abided by but if they are seen doing so first the poll watchers will instruct them not too and point to the signs and if they insist they will be arrested.
