This idea that somehow everyone has to mirror your own bad behavior, well, that's just ridiculous. When I see folks being racist, it isn't ever folks I would consider to be conservative. It's only the reality of low expectations, the use of government hand outs, etc trotted out by the left using government to create their permanent underclass that wins them the label plantationists. Being the the DRC, how can you miss the similarities?

Now please demonstrate that you have an understanding of what that whole paragraph means. Not just the bold part. Because it appears to me that you are asserting that that bold part means she didn't discuss farmer's markets at all.

More idiotic, simply stupid, woke progressives.

    They said:

Zuckerman and Conrad also apply the racial framework to any effort to combat issues such as food scarcity: They redefine the commonly-discussed "food desert" issue as "food apartheid," again using controversial language when discussing their ideas.

    No morons.

The reason why these conditions exist can be found... here:

And then the grocery store, or CVS, or anybody else leave the neighborhood and these dolts scream "RACISM".

This **** is getting ridiculous. Im starting to feel like the progressive movement is just full of people that would score super low on a common sense test.

Well the correspondent from Africa has cleared all this up for us. I'm sure white supremacy is a common dinner conversation among the whites in the DRC ;)

    Exactly what?

Half the farmers in my corner of rural Virginia are Black.

Evidently, this must come as a shock to you....

"They argue that food charity creates "narratives" that minority communities "can’t take care of themselves" and need help. Particularly, the "mobile produce market" is "white-led" and takes advantage of "majority BIPOC neighborhoods," creating greater dependence on "white-led institutions." "

so if the group helping black communities is white, it's racist

these types of people see racism in everything, they are racist, why do they care about the race of the people helping, be happy people are helping, not attack them for the color of their skin

racism comes in all shapes, sizes and colors

I prefer dogs to people, and I'm notoriously white. What kind of racist am I, I wonder?

Well I mean, you only see white people shopping at Farmer's Markets in my country. Migrants aren't going to pay $10 for a loaf of hand-hewn sourdough, when Aldi has bread for $1 a loaf. They're trying to get ahead in life, after all.

That's because it isn't there. Which is also the reason they don't see racism everywhere. They have very little concept of it at all.

It takes a very determined person, to refuse to grasp that as the colourblindness we should all want.

This story proves that some researchers should be sent out to get real jobs in the real world, because they are in no ways cut out to for what they are doing currently.

Crime doesn't deter fast food and liquor stores. Where there is demand, supply follows. Culture is a factor. Many poor neighborhoods have produce trucks and carts.

it does deter grocery stores though

liquor stores too, that ain't cheap stuff, if daily people steal bottles of alcohol, they would go out of business

Yet liquor stores thrive in those areas.
