Biden had been personally involved in the provocation as vice president in 2014 and as president in 2021, and may have been aware that the artillery ammunition sent over was used to shell Eastern Ukraine.

But it seemed easier to just assume that a politician, and one with a reputation for lying, was telling the truth on Feb 24th and that Russia had moved into the Ukraine, for no reason.

In that case, no evidence was required or even accepted.

 

It appears from conversations around this forum, that somehow a majority of those who heard the speech believed it.

I spoke with a knowledgeable friend in Germany yesterday and asked him what is likely to happen if that Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Station were subjected to intense shelling and thus seriously damaged. He replied laconically that, ultimately, there would be nothing that anyone could do to prevent the deaths of millions of people, in both the short-term, and the long-term. Then he added sardonically that if either Ukrainian or Russian forces would be STUPID and RECKLESS enough to do such a thing, it would also entail, practically speaking, the DEATHS of both countries. Sure, not everybody would die of radiation poisoning right away, or even of cancer in the subsequent few years, but it would make normal life in nearly all of Europe and much of the Middle East and southern Asia all but impossible.

I asked him if he's gotten a supply of iodine pills to protect the thyroid, and he just laughed, saying, "Why? What would be the purpose? In Germany, we would all be screwed no matter what pills we could take...."

The Russians HAVE told the truth, for 15 years or more. They repeatedly said they could not tolerate the NATO presence in Ukraine, and made countless efforts to find a diplomatic solution.

Obama and the Deep State were not interested in diplomatic solutions, they were interested in war and conquest, which has long been their modus operandi.
