The problem is that it is exactly as simple as I state. Over the last 25 years .. first world nations have been doing exactly what you say .. CO2 levels have leveled off or decreased. The entire increase - 22 billion to 36 billion tons/year .. is due to "Industrialization" .. of non industrialized populations.

Global consumption of fossil fuels - is still increasing .. and as you state .. the 3rd world can not afford to industrialize "green" .. but, nor do we have the technology currently.. which brings us to the central point .. that we can not continue to industrialize at the rate we did over last 25 years "At the moment" .. once we are technologically there .. then we can .. but currently .. No .. not without speeding up both horses towards the abyss.

and in my expert opinion .. we simply don't have another 25 years like the last .. without catastrophic damage to the Ocean. Notice you don't hear much about that .. not like "Global Warming" .. and whats more is that current Enviro policy is "Not in my back Yard - Dump it in the Ocean" .. policy which seeks to increase Ocean Pollution at an even greater rate .. along with CO2.

Better the Keystone .. oil from Canada than outsourcing out pollution problems to "Namibia" The math is extremely simple .. and it is no contest .. Barrel of Canadian Crude - by pipeline is way way way less harmful than barrel of crude from "Nigeria" by tanker.

If you do not want non industrialized nations to be industrialized, than you want them -who are all predominantly non white- to be poor while the industrialized nations get to be rich who are predominantly white.
    That's the race thing.

And that's what the OP is about.

    bla bla

    What industry?

It's kind of like so called "Taiwan". They make a massive amount of chips there compared to the world. It's a big problem if China unifies and stops selling them to the US/EU. That entire chips industry is basically just there and not "here". But not too worry. We got plenty of things over here.

While poor butt countries do not have much of an industry. The US army surveyed Afghanistan and found it's just exceptionally rich in natural resources. So if it wasn't up for the Taliban winning that asymmetric war, them peeps down there would be mining for 3 cents an hour at best for other people's industry.

It's just like how FIFA with Qatar arranged their football tournament. Dirt cheap labor, without a care in the world how many die.... while "the industry" made billions.

    For what purpose?

I did not say anything about what I wanted... you are making things up .. All I did was tell you what the problem was .. of which it is clear you were blissfully unaware and now can't deal with rammifications to your flawed political positions .. so you wish to demonize me "the messenger" :) har har har ..

has nothing to do with what I want missy .. has a whole lot with your inability to deal with reality... goin cry down the strawman fallacy hole.

That leaves open if you want that or not. You're assuming out of nowhere that I assumed you do not want this.
Point remains that there is something to be said IF you do not want non white nations to be industrialized.

Yes China manufactures much of the worlds solar and wind energy equipment. Which produces CO2. More CO2 than would have been produced if they were instead manufactured elsewhere with more stringent emission standards. Meanwhile China continues to build more coal power plants to power the manufacturing of wind, solar an alll other manufactured goods.

By finite you mean several hundred years worth? Easy because it makes you a stronger and less dependent country, you can earn money now, and invest the difference. Both, yeah, and then there is the whole employment, taxes, and build up of the industrial base thing. Basically, why wouldn't you unless you are a complete moron?

if we use their natural resources first.... if we only use ours and export as well, our children have to beg other countries for it when we run out

So we screw them by stealing their resources and then we screw them again by not sharing our resources when theirs runs out?

So that is not what you were recommending? The GOP and the Democratic Party will screw the children and grandchildren by continuing to spend money the US doesn't have. I chose not to have children so "ours" doesn't apply here.

So your take home message is

something something something racism from one person

Seems every single time someone somewhere says the R word the American right has a meltdown.. Did she refer specifically to America? No? Is this person likely, with her comments, to affect YOUR way of life?

What happened to American “free speech”?
