why do you ask people to prove something that even grade school kids know is true

why was Kamala picked after Biden claimed he was going to pick a woman of color
why do you think he picked a second rate woman to be a supreme court justice.

So you can't, and you feel that minorities are inferior to whites I guess.

I love the constant nonsense that Trump is a traitor. Have you ever told us how the big bad Trump actually caused you any OBJECTIVE harm given your almost frantic hatred of the man?

no you didn't. all you did was trot out standard talking points that had nothing to do with individuals. You were not affected by the 1/6 riots but that was your main talking point

You truncated my post, and took the comment out of context.

    Congratulations.

No, I don't call you a patriot, you have to earn that one.

    Did you vote fo Trump?

    Court of law? WTF?

Trump is an adjudicated insurrectionist, which is an uncontested finding of fact at both a state court and at the Supreme Court by a number of judges and justices..

    Please pay attention.

Therefore, I stand by my comment.

True, but while dicta in court rulings may not be legally binding, they can still be informative and influential in legal analysis and scholarship. They may provide insight into the judge's reasoning process, legal philosophy, or interpretation of the law. Dicta can also offer guidance on potential future developments in the law or alternative approaches to interpreting statutes, regulations, or constitutional provisions.

I just don't buy this idea that dicta should arbitrarily be ignored.

Compared to what, Trump's nepotism, his 'very best people', many of whom have either been convicted, or disgraced or having him losing in court?

I get that you are shooting for what you think is a correct interpretation of what 'shall not be infringed' means, that you are going for what you think is a literal reading of it. You think it is broad, absolute, but it's really not
And this goes to my point to underscore an important principle in constitutional law: the meaning and scope of constitutional rights are not solely determined by their text but are also profoundly influenced by judicial interpretations and the practical implementation of laws. This principle is particularly relevant to the Second Amendment, where the balance between individual rights and public safety concerns has led to a complex regulatory and legal landscape.

So, please abstain with this insistence that 'shall not be infringed' is some kind of absolute statement, it isn't. so says the court.

My country right or wrong is a load of rubbish isn’t it?
It didn’t work for those who murdered people in concentration camps who said they were ‘just following orders’.
That excuse was ‘patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel’ made manifest.

Nope, just incomplete. My country, right or wrong; if right, to be kept right; and if wrong, to be set right.”

Who I voted for has nothing to do with patriotism. Politicians come and go. Some are better than others. Some are worse than others. But patriotism remains constant.

Patriotism in a nutshell is like being a caretaker. To take care of your country, to value and cherish your fellow countrymen(and women). And as long as the government respects the same, to respect the government. If that respect is broken, perceived or otherwise that's what leads to poor relationships between citizens and the government.

Those without patriotism basically do not care about the country or the compatriots they live with

A patriot is not a person who is ok with the weaponization law enforcement to go after political opponents and keeping them off the ballots.

Ummmmmmmmmmmm, it IS happening and the Supreme Court had to put a stop to the ballot thing because it was illegal and unconstitutional. Where have you been? You shouldn't be posting here if you can't keep up with current events.

Because in the end and what we NOW know, it really didn’t mean **** for the vast majority of people especially middle aged and younger healthy adults. It was a really BAD flu and nothing more, but it sure was a great club to destroy the economy during an election year:)
