And when do you see it happening? Do you believe that if Trump wins '24 election that the Dems will claim it was stolen and therefore try to overturn the election and stay in power?

Biden is an absolute crap show but he will be the ‘24 candidate for the Dem party. See, this is an example of how an adult answers questions.

 

It comes down to them believing lies. They actually believe/d that the election was stolen and that Trump being elected was the true will of legitimate voters. They also actually believe that the charges against Trump are made up or at least would not be applied to somebody who wasn't a political enemy like Trump. Delusion is the answer to your question.

 

As I've been saying for years now, 2020 was practice. Just wait until Trump loses again. It won't be pleasant for anyone.

There was a time, when I was younger, when voters would rather pick competence over ideology/party, and character over both, because the worst thing for local or national democracy was a history of corruption in office. Boy has that changed.

 

I think that's right. They see the world as they want to see it, not as it is. Made possible by media sources that reinforce an alternative reality. The most recent example being the contention Don is the victim of persecution while in the real world the judicial system twists itself in knots protecting his rights. The evidence suggests his guilt in the Daniels' case is not in question. The only remaining doubt is whether the jury assembled to judge him is tainted by a Trump ringer for whom the facts don't matter.
