Try as I might I don't get why acknowledging the Big Lie as a Big Lie, the origin of the insurrection being Trump, and the possibility of two criminal convictions not being enough to disqualify Trump to be prez again. Those four things being the tip of the iceberg when it comes to disqualifying aspects of his resume because the list is exceedingly long.

I understand fidelity to the party, but not above all things. Not above plotting to overthrow the government by disregarding the will of the voters. IMO, there is no credible rationalization for ignoring that.

 

I wonder of it's because party over...anything else. The GOP likely feels Trump is the only chance to take back the WH and therefore piece of crap scumbag be damned they are going with him.

 

Your supposition does not equal fact, the reason you cannot square the circle is that you assume everyone else is require to believe the same silly things you believe. We don't. Until you convict him of something you can not disqualify him legally and given who is running these trials most of those voting for Trump including those of us who have read the relevant documents find the charges to be completely bogus.

One thing i've noticed on this forum is many members lack any sort of self awareness and think they exist above those they trade barbs with every day.
