The inflation was not caused by the tax cuts or Donald Trump, so the fact that it happened is not actually a legitimate criticism of the tax cuts. Yes, that's the way it worked out after COVID happened but that doesn't mean they are connected.

It's not binary. The tax cuts contributed to inflation. But, more importantly, they contributed to increasing the debt and THAT contributed to, not only inflation, but erosion of other economic indicators that affect the middle class. The small temporary benefit the middle class received with the tax cuts was paid back many times over.

According to my post depicting the complex relationships between unions and members, that's not always the case. I agree that I could have clarified that better.

Well I guess I'm drawing a division between American citizens and people that have just come to the US that may or may not be citizens, but are certainly recent immigrants. I don't equate the two groups.
