I agree with that. The Chinese are big on deceit. Probably based on Sun Tzu. The Chinese are on a roll because of the utility of their current model of social organization, but they are not ten feet tall. They have weaknesses. But America has a greater weakness. Internal division.

Are you familiar with the X-45 and the X-47? Unmanned aircraft is the future imo.

And I hope for many more for you!

It's a living wage, depending where in China you are.

No they will not. China is non-confrontational.

China will have them too, just as China will soon have Europe; the US doesn't understand the value of its own dollar (I think that translated well)!

    There is no dictator.

For deap strike missions maybe, but I'd rather have a man in the cockpit for CAS or mixed CAS and CAP missions.

There is a dictatorship whether it is just one man or a small group of equals.

Dictatorship of the proletariat, of the people? Call it whatever you want, then.

I don't believe that old communist lie for a moment.

The people do not tell the rulers in Peking what to do.

It works the other way around.

American intelligence believes that China gave Pakistan the engineering plans and physics needed to develop its nuclear weapons program in 1984, but can't prove it. American intelligence also believes that Pakistan's current expansion of its nuclear weapons inventory is being funded by China.

Why would China do this? To hamstring India. The same thing can be done to China.

You are correct that America doesn't understand its dollar. The dollar is destined to collapse because the American fiscal and budgetary process cannot be reformed. The internal division is too great.

    Not in China.

That country is ruled by a communist dictatorship and the people do what they are told.

The X-45 and X-47 can operate beyond the range of China's DF-21 anti-ship missiles (presuming the system works) and can knock down the door. Manned aircraft can follow on.

China is ruled by the Communist Party which in practicality is Leninist. But the Party is in many ways decentralized. It has to be in such a huge country. There are provincial and local power centers. The CCP Politburo is not all powerful within the Party. It must pay attention to regional cadres. It's a delicate balance that has proven durable.

The DF-21, as stated earlier, relies on satellite radar (if it works at all). Every US AEGIS destroyer can kill those satellites. They don't even have to be in the Pacific. They can hit them as they cross the Atlantic.

As long as the US and Chinese economies are tied together, there will not be a war between the two countries. The only reason the US and China are on "friendly terms" is because they both make money off each other, but once the US economy breaks China will no longer have a need for America to be around.

According to my understanding the DF-21 has a range of 1,000 miles, and is designed for use in the Western Pacific. Also according to my understanding China has obtained Aegis technology.

I would have to see a reliable source to believe that. Also, the U.S. imports older less effective models to many allied Navies. Aegis has been around since the 70's, having "Aegis" doesn't mean you have the most up to date systems that the USN deploys.

Looks like they managed to steal some of the tech. from the U.S.

It's not the AEGIS radar that gives them that capability. It's the missiles they carry. The SM-3ER ABM has the capability of killing satellites.

I don't think we are worried at this point with China. It is who China arms that we are concerned with. The constantly undermine us politically against many of our advasaries.

China wouldn't have had the money for the military buildup if conservatives didn't shop at Walmart.

Exactly but it's much more involved than that. Corporate US has been outsourcing to China for years...not to help us here with lower prices but to help themselves with higher profits. Corporate US is behind funding China, we are also guilty for buying their goods.. So what does China do with all they money? They already own our debt and are buying our real estate. In effect, they already own us.
