You'll be waiting awhile. His liberal mindset will not allow him to argue his position specifically. LGU just sort of "throws it out there" like a big mixed up word-salad, and then runs off to the next topic or insult.

Since he claims that the Tea Party are the big-government socialists who want to take your guns away? I'd say he's not really worth having a political discussion with.

Cartoons and comic books, perhaps, but not politics...

The EU is crumbling, A FEW countries with tinker toy economies, are isolating themselves and treading water on their own. Germany is supporting the entire south of the EU and Germany is tired of it. Germany is not historically high on compassion and they are now being asked to be ultra compassionate. Germany is about to tell the rest of the EU, Führen Sie einen sexuellen Akt an sich selbst

Liberals have been trying to emulated the EU model for years. Now they have,,,,,, the EU is in chaos and so are we.

A month ago, the progressives were saying that the Tea Party is "Dead," "White and Old," "Carries No Weight," "A Passing Fad," "Insignificant," "A Joke!"

And now these same people are blaming the Tea Party for everything from the credit downgrade, to the market instability, to the riots in London!

    ...IRONYYYYY!!!...

I guess its the Tea party's fault that so far this week the stocks are only down 61 points. oh wait I'm sure you will not try to spin that to be Obama's great doing.

Unrivaled selfishness? The U.S. is the most generous and charitable nation on Earth - to her own people and to the rest of the world. Right or wrong?

When things are good, all praise the left. When it's bad, they're looking everywhere but at themselves. Typical liberal mindset.

It's why Obama gets the credit for Bin Laden; it had NOTHING to do with Bush policy or eight years of his efforts. Nope - Obama "took that call".

The real problem is the debt itself, not so much the downgraded credit rating. The USA can begin to deal with the problem now, or it can keep postponing it like it has been doing for the last few decades, letting it grow and snowball biger and biger. The longer americans wait to solve their problems, the worse the day of reckoning will be. Either tax the wealthy, reduce spending, or figure out a way for the government to invest in the economy. When I say invest, I mean repaving roads, updating bridges, and fixing rails that will help transportation within the country. Or spend money developing natural gas fuel stations so that CNG cars will be practical for people to own. This would reduce american reliance on expensive petroleum. The last thing the USA needs is more "stimulus".

What he really meant was that no one on the far left living in their Mommy's basement that he knew, wanted it.

The republican intent with all the playing chicken with the country defaulting was to harm the economy for political purposes. They did a great job and their plan is working. They may even be able to get an idiot elected. But the harm they did to america... and Perry is the one talking about treason. He just doesn't want the fed helping the economy because it may stop the massive bleeding from the republican wounds to stop.

This mess was in the cards. Washington did not help but it was also not the cause.

I just bet you could see an 8,000 or 9,000 Dow before it begins to improve much.

If you have a 401K with an employer match you can double your money.

If you decide to play the market...play with the employer match and keep the other half safe.

Buy stocks that are in good companies priced below book value. Good buys will come...be patient.

So we're expected to fight, defend you, and die for your freedoms.....but you wont allow us our entitlements and benefits? You'd just cut the military budget like that? I suppose when you don't depend on the military for your low pay, poor housing, and standard of life....ignorance is bliss.

We don't need to cut the military or any BS like that - we need to stop spending on outrageous things like Obamacare, and bailouts, and many other things.

I find it amazing that a true grass rots movement, started less than 3 years ago can have such an effect on an economy that has been in trouble since Democrats took control of Congress in 2007. But I guess the Left needs someone to blame for their utter failure.I guess the fact that the only plan that would have prevented our credit downgrade was pushed thru by the TEA Party, and then killed by the Democrat Senate doesn't impinge on their consciousness

Yes, and I'm amazed that a thread with such a stupid asinine premise has gone on for so long.
Blaming the Tea Party for our economic woes is like blaming the doctor because you are so fat.

The tea party members are totally ignorant. Even after all this they probably don't realize they alone are responsible for this mess. I guess that's why they like a guy that got a D in rudimentary economics.

I was just running through some of these old posts when I saw this one that I had overlooked before. Just when I thought the libs couldn't blame the Tea Party for anything more...I find this. Liberal Tea Party bashing and knee jerk reaction to everyhing going wrong with a liberal presidency is getting to be more than ridiculous. LMFAO!!!!!

Anything that threatens their authoritarian rule of the country is the reason for any problems or failures that the liberals may have.

Kind of like the way that Hitler blamed the Jews for every issue in Germany.

Personal responsibility is anathema to a liberal.

They know how to gin up hate from a dead stop. But then again, anyone who takes the needle away from a junkie is the devil incarnate.

I'm glad the country is waking up to the destructive ways of the **********s. Its about time their numbers plummeted in the polls. Once we get rid of these extremists we can move on repairing or economy like adults.

The tea party has an approval rate higher than the Democrats in Congress. Higher than the Republicans in Congress too.

    And more influence.

OK so if people are making the same but taxed more wouldn't it reduce their buying power and hurt the economy?
