I base my observations on the contact I have with a much broader range of people than those with "western european enlightenment norms". mind you - the people who I have personally met lately whose behaviour has turned my stomach have mainly been white and western ... the behaviour has included excessive rudeness towards people of other cultural backgrounds (not necessarily muslim/african or asian) sepate incidents from from both a white adult male and a white adult female, drunken loutish behaviour from younger white westerners of both sexes, and encountering a young woman who has been the victim of the most vile and disgusting internet bullying - the behaviour perpetrated by young,white, westerners.
