Is that the same language that uses "too" instead of "to"?

No straw at all .... you started nit-picking over someone's 'of' instead of 'have' and finished your post w/"I's so annoying'.... well, you're right - you are........

Some people get anxiety attacks over the silliest things....

You don't know the difference? Does 'two' confuse you also?

Of course I do: I just pointed out the error.

    Try to keep up.

I'm not confused by "to", "two", or "too".

I'm the one who pointed out the error. Remember?

Try to keep up (or, would you prefer 'Try two keep up'?).

Well, let's all hope that this little attack of yours doesn't last too long.

I wouldn't want your Sunday afternoon ruined.

Sorry to disappoint the Right Wing feeding frenzy, but it is the Christian Fundamentalists who are trying to stomp out Santa Claus, not "Libruls".

Here is one of MANY diatribes on how parents are sending their children to hell by putting them under the sway of the Demon Devil Santa Claus.

This is a serious web site.

How about we get back on topic, which is ruining the innocents of children.

Good idea (and I'm not going to say anything about "innocents", I promise).

I'd certainly like to see the innocence of children preserved for as long as possible.

    Santa doesn't do any harm.

However, when my kids eventually asked me if Santa really existed, I told them the truth.

Teachers need to stay well clear of any of these "cultural belief" issues. Just opens up a huge can of worms. Neither confirm or deny! Pivot the question! Misdirection, distraction, whatever, just don't get yourself caught up in it.

In a country of 300+ million people, ONE teacher told ONE class that santa doesn't exist, WOW! Obviously this means that all "liberals" want to ruin Christmas for all 7 and 8 year olds. As though the knowledge that they get their presents from their parents and other family members instead of some random fat guy in a red suit is an abhorrent attack on their childhood innocence. Amazing.

Whether I did or not isn't relevant. But picking on syntax and/or spelling rather than the topic is a chump tactic.

So, parents that tell their kids about Santa Claus are in the wrong???

It's something that makes kids happy, and that's why it's there...

It's not up to that teacher...

    What an ass...

The parents are not outraged because they can't lie anymore...

They're outraged because the teacher (*)(*)(*)(*)ed up the way they celebrate Christmas...

I agree with you too often even thought we are not politically aligned.

    Nice Post.

The teacher did not have the right to ruin Christmas for the kids. She's a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*).

    We've all moved on.

Perhaps you'd like to join us.

"Some parents may worry about the effect of the Santa story on kids once they figure out who's really been eating the cookies and milk left by the fireplace, but giving kids an immediate dose of reality on the subject isn't necessary, says child psychologist Bruce Henderson of Western Carolina University, because young children often use their imagination and make-believe when they play."

You'd think teachers would know to keep their personal beliefs to themselves...

Esp. in a class of kids that are the age that might believe in Santa...

Why the (*)(*)(*)(*) do they need to know about your own personal beliefs!?

Not all.......fortunately only a pathetic few who would have the audacity.

Think of it as being akin to any other aberrant behavior with a child that is not yours. Should a teacher tell a kid they are adopted? How about telling the kid their parents are trailer trash? No? What if it is the truth according to our wise and esteemed teacher?

No, there are some mean assed liberals out there. Some of whom have no compunction of pushing their whack ideology even upon children.

    OWS Christmas anyone?

    Seriously...

Does this guy really think kids that still believe in Santa know whether they're atheist or not!?

    FOh...

Thats the worst part. This isn't exactly new territory here. Out of the hundreds of thousands of teachers over a century........we have this fool deciding she has a moral obligation to do what the parents wont.

And that makes it so (*)(*)(*)(*) stupid...

These kids just have this belief that a fat man in a red suit brings them (*)(*)(*)(*) every December 25th...

Who in the hell is that hurting???

    I reiterate...

    The teacher is an idiot...

There ya go, dude! That's the right attitude! Let the kids enjoy their fantasy as long as they want to......

My kids were around 6-7 when he/she asked me if Santa was real. I asked them 'What do you think?' Each one said 'no' and I explained it's a fun, happy and magical time for little kids, particularly the toddler age.....neither one were upset when they realized he didn't exist......
