That funeral thread is ridiculous. I've been visiting the forum less and less these days. It just seems like it's all the same angry, stupid and opinionated people posting vile nonsense over and over. Here's my impression of EVERY thread:

Post one: Event X happened.
Post two: Ohmygawd it's all Obama's fault.
Post three: Obama sucks and liberals are the devil's children.....

rinse, repeat....

Reports like these are becoming increasingly common as time goes on. I believe the public as a whole is desensitized to reports like these. It's not as if this country doesn't have a history of assassinating their leaders, not to mention assassinating prominent political figures who happen to be black. The rhetoric sublty supporting people like this are actually pretty mainstream. I've never seen "the country is falling apart someone do something about it be so widely accepted. I mean we have elected officials talking about revolution. It's pretty bad, but there's not much that could be done.

It's not a function of class size, but that of discipline and teacher skills. If a poor teacher tries to tech just five unruly students, it's not going to work. but a good teacher, that has the where wit all to enforce discipline can effectively teach 50 kids. I've seen it happen.
