You have to weigh the possibility realistically. For instance Trump just had a rally and young Democrats were bragging about flooding the system with false attendance requests so Trump overestimated the crowd. Of course these same young Democrats would never think of stuffing the ballots if they find a way. It is not only a possibility but is pretty likely. Yes, I'm sure young Republicans would do the same if opportunity is there. A secure system is essential to keep that activity in check and maintain the integrity of the vote and picture ID is a major tool even in a banking transaction. Voting is a right but so is owning a gun and it takes ID in triplicate to buy a gun.

100%. Firearms cause immense harm.

 

There will always be those with mental disabilities. Just as there will always be those who want to end their own existence. Just as there will always be far more in need of being cared for, than there will be available help for everyone in need. These are immutable facts of the real world. They can never be changed, no matter how much some wish to believe otherwise. There is ultimately nothing that can be done to change the fact that demand far exceeds supply.

 

If such were truly the case then humans would stop seeing their fellow humans as something in need of being killed.

 

The world is an insensitive, uncaring, cruel place. Pretending it is not, or otherwise wishing for the contrary, will ultimately do nothing to change the basics of reality. Doing so is nothing more than a futile waste of time that suggests emotional immaturity.

If individuals wish to end their own existence, then allow them to do such without opposition. To do anything else in opposition of their wishes is ultimately to say their lives are not their own, and that they in fact belong to someone else, amounting to nothing more than private property.

 

While simultaneously choosing to ignore every non-firearm-related suicide, choosing to pretend they either do not exist, claiming the people are too lazy to go through the work needed to utilize them, or believing they will not become more popular if there is an absence of available firearms, despite the nation of Japan proving all such beliefs to be factually incorrect.

The human species cannot be saved from itself. Give up the illusion and recognize reality for what it is.
