    Ironic since the real POWER of the United States only came about BECAUSE of our involvement into WW2 and the fact most other countries were crippled by it from the fighting all over the world. The public really didnt want to go to War and was content in being isolationist. Germany AND Japan declared war ON US days after Pearl Harbor. Unstability around the world especially the EU is BAD for America. I would rather defend EU than go on a middle east war path that Republicans have set us on for how long

    How about neither defend the EU or fight the wars in the ME? Had we remained isolationist, we would've come out just as pretty as Joseph Stalin. Hell, Pearl Harbor likely doesn't happen. Germany's defeated all the same, with far less losses.

    The "death warrant" of the third Reich was being stupid enough to try to take over Russia

    Ive read the US only lost 400,000 or so soldiers in WW2 compared to the....idk...around 10 MILLION the Russians lost along with the millions of civilian deaths

    You do know we were at high unemployment and it basically jump started our economy and eventually world standing right?

    Like its basically THE reason we became such a huge economic superpower

    Not to mention who knows if Germany actually does lose the war if they develop the Nuclear Bomb first (although from what ive read they probably wouldnt of but maybe a different type of weapon) or heck Russia which could of had it over us. Only reason we did is because we focused on it because of being in the war
