101 Reasons Why You NEED an Assault Weapon

101. It's great for blasting up a bunch of little kids if you get too pissed off at the way the US is going or whatever your gripe is.

 

No. 1 reason why anyone needs high capacity, semi auto, military style assault rifle is:

To shoot as many people as possible, with a compact, portable weapon, as quickly as possible, with only a minimal skill level required, and a finger available to pull trigger, and at least one eye open to aim in the general direction of the fleeing hysterical human targets.

 

So you want to take my ability to form an effective militia, so that psychopath's have to practice more before they go on their rampage?

Just stating the no.1 logical reason to need a ,high capacity military style, rapid firing, semi auto, compact, lightweight weapon which is easily operated, and does not require expert aiming skills.

If OP was 101 reasons why you need a Sniper rifle, then I would say that no.1 reason would be to kill a few people, or just one VIP, at long range, from concealed position, with just one bullet, and be able to escape, before being detected.

 

Yeah, cuz, clearly civilians have no impact on wars. Let's just forget 1775, Whiskey Rebellion, 1812, 1831, 1860, 1914, 1939, 1950, 1965, 2001, 2003. Yeah, civilians never had an impact in a war effort.

Well you are full of sh*t. The number one reason I own an assault rifle is because, my government has earned my fear of it, through its actions, and my understanding of asymmetrical warfare, and a need for volume of fire that only assault rifles can provide is my rational.

There hasn't been an open rebellion against the US Govt in 150 years. The "facts" you are giving have nothing to do with you clowns trying to take on our Govt. The only thing that would spare your lives is the Govt would not want to commit such heinous acts on it's own people and completely blow you off the map. So they probably would let you rebel and slowly wait til you guys got tired and went home.

You realize how ignorant you sound? Unless half the US Military decided to join your cause, you would stand no chance. This isn't the 1800s. The US Govt wouldn't even need ground support to destroy you. The air support would more than do the job to stop any crazy nut job rebellion.

 

How would the military know who the bad guys are? You drop bombs and shoot missiles you kill innocents as well. The we could easily defeat the military crowd is misguided. So is your argument, the weapons you speak of would be useless in that kind of conflict.

 

So why are we still in Afghanistan? Why was Iraq so hard to win? Why hasnt Syria toppled its rebellion yet?

 

I can think no reason to own a automatic or rapid fire weapon.

I only own on 22 cal rifle (bolt action) with a five round clip.

I bout 200 rounds of ammo and have 197 rounds left. I shot a sick goat twice in the head and used the other round before that just to fire the dang thing...it was new.

Oh...I forgot...I also own a cap and ball pistol. 1853 replica Colt I think.

 

We won in Iraq? Not my idea of a win.

 

And what you don't understand is that a insurrection of 3,000,000 people would mean 1% of the population was fighting. The second any US military personal was deployed to American soil against specific wordage in our constitution, that insurrection becomes 150,000,000.

The West Point officers I served with in the military, would not follow that order to kill millions of Americans!

 

See my post above. We need to be able to fight our para-military police force, and national guard troops. The second regular army or Air Force is used against the American people, the US government signed its own death warrant!

Officers will stop following orders, if the constitution is violated in such a clear manor!

 

The problem with what they are showing is they are using a .223 as their flag ship weapon when the majority of what they want to class as an " Assult" weapon takes a 7.62 X 39 cartridge. Where the .223 is nothing more than a glorified .22 the 7.62 X 39 is a .30 caliber, the same as a 30-30, .308, or 30-06. True, a 7.62 X 39 only leaves the end of the barrel at 2,425 feet per second where a .308 leaves at a littl over 2,600 feet per second but then a 30-30 only leaves at 2,200 feet per second. So, sit there and tell me that an SKS, Mac-90, or AK-47 isn't good for hunting. And, YES, they do make hunting clips for the Mac-90 and AK-47.

I would still rather have one round through the head or heart of my opponent thaqn have 20 rounds in the air

 

Obama needs to create his armed civilian force before he can declare himself President-for-Life. He did mention he wants to do that.

 

Matial Law is constitutional for small areas, not nation wide!!! Any president try that and they will find a lot of the guns and roctets of those they send out pointed right back at them
