Many of them are students, getting an education. Basically, the opposite of being a "biker." It's pretty hilarious to me people that identify themselves based on the mode of transportation they choose.

 

If it's what it takes to prevent an outbreak of violence, and liberals and all the other dead-beat classes of 'suckers off the government teet' (they come in all guises) are good at doing that, then that's okay by me. Then the ceremony will pass off peacefully and with dignity and everyone can go home leaving President Trump get on with what desperately needs doing to head off WW3.

Friday will be rainy and January seasonal. That does not bode well for a party thing with Bikers. Additionally, I don't think NG and Secret Service are too keen on the strange clouds of highly fragrant smoke that seem to emanate from large crowds of Bikers almost like oil fumes from old Harley engines. There will undoubtedly be some but I would be surprised to see anyone there in force

Actually I grew up riding my first Harleys in the late 1960's and I've always been a biker.

Being a biker doesn't magically cure racism, xenophobia, misogyny, anti-Semitism, religious intolerance, or turn a person into an environmentalist and it would be the sign of a bigot to believe that it does. I've met far more than one White (WASP) Male Supremacist riding a Harley in my roughly 50 years of being a biker and I don't doubt for a minute that there's far more than 200,000 of them out there.

And anyone that thinks that a few anecdotal cases of problems that adversely affected people is more important than the over 20 million Americans that are finally receiving health care services because of Obamacare is living in the Twilight Zone.

I don't like Obamacare per se because I believe superior results could be achieved at less cost to the taxpayers but I can't argue with the results of Obamacare because without Obamacare over 20 million Americans wouldn't be receiving the health care services they require.

Like President Obama I'll also support any proposal by Republicans that results in more health care services for more Americans at lower costs. So far the only recent Republican proposal I've seen is Sen Rand Paul's and it's a plan for "cheap" (junk) health insurance and it's cheap because it doesn't provide the medical services that the American people need. Insurance that doesn't provide the benefits the people need is worthless insurance.

 

That's the parking lot, and that whole crowd is nothing but Bikers For Trump folks.

 

Super. So, is it 200,000, 5,000, 50 or what? What if it rains? Are the middle-aged, mid-life crisis fatties in their badass shades and neatly laundered do-rags going to risk getting their shiny new Harleys wet?

 

Proof is in Ohio, where they prevented large scale violence just by being there.

Look for more of the same come inauguration time.

Yes, this country is full of Marxists. Who outnumbered Trump voters. Anyway that many bikers would be carrying enough illegal weaponry to cover a football field. Not. Going. To. Happen.

 

It doesn't matter if it's a stink bomb or an explosive bomb, you don't have the right to assault other people because you didn't get your way. These spoiled little brats don't get that for some reason. If you throw anything at someone there should be consequences. Throw something at a group of bikers and those consequences may be pretty severe. But the bottom line is DON'T ASSAULT PEOPLE.

I personally know police, doctors, firemen, respiratory therapists and RN's who ride. Some of them are my coworkers.

 

So you chastise people for assigning virtue to them because they ride a motorcycle, and then assign unemployment and drug dealing to them for riding a motorcycle.
