How does a graph showing the debt and the GDP have any bearing on when the US debt is due? It has no relationship at all. The GDP is the GDP. GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT.

The debt is DUE according to the terms of the loans when the debt was made. A Treasury Bond has a due date and an interest rate. That is when that debt is due, no matter what the GDP is doing or not doing. Idiotic to claim that GDP affects debt due dates. It can certainly effect the govt ability to meet its due dates. But it doesn't change those contractual terms in any way.

thats only so long as interest rates remain at zero. As the fed keeps printing and printing it will eventually spook the bond vigelanties. At some point they will dump bonds and drive up interest rates. The only question then is what Bernacke will do. My guess is he will go in the market and buy up all the bonds he can.......and this is when true hyper inflation hits!
