Honestly if he was going to go with someone like Harris, he should have just grabbed a moderate Repub. Ideologically nothing would have changed (a progressive Harris is not) but it'd have helped pull in more defections and undermined Trump's 'radical left' BS with an R on the ticket.

He didn't run Harris to appeal to black people. They hate her in California for tossing so many men in jail. He picked her to appeal to privileged white suburban women. I think you'll see white women moving to the Democrat Party and black and Hispanic men moving to the Republican Party. That's what polls were showing anyway.
