Why are you defining him for his faith and not his policies which are far more relevant to the subject?
Is that the only thing you know about Kahn?

    He's a terrible mayor.
    Affordable housing is relative.
City of Westminster killed Soho and built multi million pound flats because that's affordable because it's relative to Mayfair around the corner and changed everything, our cultral heritage and Music Mecca, rebuilt it and closed stuff down so and opened up different business and a street market for food while building 'affordable' housing AND that was behind schedual and over budget.

Knife crime too, it's an issue and he's the mayor who blames the PM even before the PM was the ex Mayor..

    If you didn't know

None of that has anything to do with him being a Muslim though which is the point I was making.
What happens in London is not really of much interest to me.
There's almost zero knife crime here in Suffolk.
If you want to buy a home of your own I suggest you leave London.

Or vote for a mayor who doesn't call multi million pound flats affordable housing because it's relative to nearby by multi million pound flats.

If I ever left my native London then ideally it'll be because I'd want to, not because of nothing affordable here.
If a Mayor ever offered to make London independent of England, then they'd get my vote, why would I want to leave London behind just to be somewhere else in England without things I've grown up with and custom to because it's my pace of home life; mass transit, culture and international airports and centres for finance and fashion of everything else.

It makes no difference who is Mayor of London house prices will always be amongst the highest in the world.
London isn't going anywhere, no matter where you live you will always be able to visit it and enjoy all the things you like about it.
If you want to live there you will probably have to accept that you will always have to rent your home.

If Londoners don't vote in Bailey, they deserve everything they get.

I'm a Lefty, but can admit the massive failures of the Left in managing cities.

Code for: I feel entitled to live in areas I can't afford, and it should be funded by working stiffs who don't try to live in places they can't afford.

Then expect to remain a slave to landlords for life. When you're too old or sick to work, you'll still be paying off some stranger's mortgage. Hope you think that's a fair trade for standing on your 'native' principles.

It should be a birth right since I'm native. If London leaves the UK there would be no question of my right to stay.

It's not principles, it's that the rest of England is just depressing in comparison to my native lands, they have no good shopping, no abundance of entertainment and food, there'd be nothing for me if I left London and everything for me in London.
I defy you to find a Boots open at 11 pm outside of London.

    I've just voted.
    https://whocanivotefor.co.uk/elections/mayor.london.2021-05-06/mayor-of-london/
We get two choices and in the event of a tie the second choices get counted, it happened in 2016 and Sadiq Khan was my second choice behind the legalise marijuana guy.
My first choice I went for Brian Rose - London Real Party.
My second choice I went for Farah London - Independent.
Our first Mayor of London was an Independent, so it can happen.

We've always had an over supply of crazy Americans unfortunately we have no laws preventing them, though they be nutty as a fruitcake, from buying all the guns and ammo they can afford.

In other words you think if there's a problem being able to get enough low skill workers, the taxpayers should help pay for it?

    Your rationale is not logical.

Here's a thought for you: If the free market cannot pay those workers enough to live and commute there, maybe it does not make sense for them to be there.

The consumers should be the ones having to pay higher prices, not the taxpayers.

Get rid of all the taxpayer subsidies and maybe immigration will go down too.

But I bet that's a thought that your socialist-oriented brain just cannot fathom.
