    That's certainly a type of exoneration in criminal procedure We aren't talking about criminal procedure here.....no crime was alleged in the articles of impeachment.

    it does not matter how many times you repeat it. Trump was not exonerated. The senate does not exonerate, just like juries don't.

    Exonerated is a legal term, and a legal status.

    Under the law, one is not "exonerated" until they have been convicted of a crime and that conviction is reversed.

    Only a fool says they "have been exonerated" if they were never convicted of a crime.

    we're adults here and we use adult terms, correctly.

    Trump was found not guilty of the Impeachment Articles against him, but he was never exonerated of any crimes.

    I provided the how the word is defined....it even has it used in a sentence for you. Nobody here is talking about criminal procedure....since no crime was ever claimed in the articles of impeachment. You are right he'd have the potential of criminal procedure if one was alleged. Since one wasn't the Senate Trial is the last we will hear about the accusations, and hence why he was fully exonerated when the Senate found him NOT GUILTY
