    The advancement of Islam had to do with their conquest of the Byzantine Empire and especially Alexandria with its libraries and schools as well as its educated people.

    Mohamed's armies at first destroyed the library at Alexandria, but to the credit of the Arabs, they did learn and they did grow from their contacts with the educated Byzantines. That ended when the Seljuk Turks took over and started persecuting the Christians. This is why we had the Crusades.

    That was the Turks which destroyed the Byzantines along with Rome. A Turk married a Byzantine queen and the rest is history..

    Andalusia is a good example of the only time in Islam's history they actually did look into education and stuff like that,
    They were partnered with the Jews and were being oppressed by the Christians of Spain.
    Naturally the Jews were Dhimines and the Muslims got all the credit.

    It should be a learning example of what they can do if they get along with the Jews instead of killing them.

    Well not outside of the West, but the same people don't care if Muslims are killed outside of the West either. People care about ALL of the targeted killings that have happened in the West, regardless of religion.

    IMO. The problem is we have too much money on the line dealing with countries pretending they are our friends.
    We can't expose Islam, which is what we should do, for fear of offending someone.

    so we have to pretend it is another reason, not the religion, the Muslims are going nuts.
