Speaking of the SNAP program, the Dems threatened to shut down the entire Dept of Ag because the GOP wanted some work requirements added to the program.

Think about that...the Dems threatened hard working farmers, threatended to cut off any crop insurance because the GOP wanted folks getting welfare to at least apply for a job.

That's the modern DNC for you

The above post is actually a great scientific find.

Apparently people out there who really, REALLY hate Trump are aging in dog years, or beyond. Or maybe there's some kind of Star Trek, timey-wimey thing happening where years become days. If we play our cards right, we may have discovered our first clue into how to build an actual TARDIS by harnessing the feelz of some in the LW into powering time machines!

I think we need a government grant to study this phenomenon.

And under Obama SNAP participation fell by 5.5 million from 47.6 million in 2013 to 42.2 million in 2017. So are you going to give Obama credit too?

That's most likely 6.1 million more votes for Trump.

The left hates independence. When folks are independent, they aren’t voting for the dnc policies of slavery

Maybe she doesn't think the folks who vote for her are very smart? *shrug*

That's cute that you start counting in 2013 ---- makes it easier to have reductions after you explode the thing in the first place. Nevermind the 70% increase from 2008 to 2013. Nevermind that the years with the highest food stamp enrollment were 2013 (47K), 2014 (46K+), and 2012 (46K), and those were all Obama years, and were also years after the "depression". Even at 34K now, under Trump, we're nowhere near Bush's last year (2008, 28K).

We're making progress under Trump, but there are still too many people reliant on "food stamps". Four more years of Trump and hopefully we'll keep moving in the right direction. If we end up with one of the free sh*t party Democrat's presidential hopefuls in charge, I expect the program to explode again.

Obama didn't "explode the thing." He didn't start the recession. The progress under Trump is a continuation of the progress started under Obama's second term. Its too bad that it took 5 years for us to start making real progress, but at least it happened unlike other countries.

That's odd. It was in the middle of that timeframe (2015) that the number of tax payers were surpassed by the number of people on welfare.

Why do you think "Four More Years" didn't pan out for Hillary?

    Here is Actual Thread Title:

6.1 Million Individuals Off Food Stamps Under Donald Trump

I don't see any mention of the term "GREATEST PRESIDENT EVER".:bored:

Anyway, it is great to see so many people off of Food Stamps.

Trump needs to shuffle around some gov't assets to cover the Hundreds of Millions of Dollars that all of his Golf Trips have cost American Taxpayers.

As far as "GREATEST Ever"? :roflol:

Most Objective Historians have him in the Bottom 3 (Along with Andrew Johnson and Buchanan).

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Historical_rankings_of_presidents_of_the_United_States

He is, arguably, a candidate for the WORST Ever.:salute:

    The "Greatest Ever"?:roflol::bored:

The economy started going to crap after democrats took full control of Congress in 2007 and wouldn't allow Bush to do anything that helped. They started a recession under Bush to make it look like it was the fault of Republicans. Then it fell even more after Obama won and once it hit rock bottom, there was nowhere to go but up.

The economy took off almost immediately as soon as Trump reversed most of obama's executive orders and lowered our taxes. You should research instead of listening to what they tell you.

“You're living in poverty, your schools are no good, you have no jobs. Fifty-eight percent of your youth is unemployed. What the hell do you have to lose?” Trump said, “And at the end of four years, I guarantee you that I will get over 95 percent of the African-American vote. I promise you. Because I will produce.”

Well so far he's brought the black unemployment down to record lows, which includes black youth. He's gotten more off of welfare. He's passing a bill so they can choose the school of their choice. I don't know if he'll get 95% of their vote, but so far he's done what he said he would.

Do you support low black unemployment? How about criminal justice reform? That's another promise made by democrats that was never delivered, which Trump had to take care of himself. How many more times will Trump actively help those that the democrats pretend to want to help?

Actually through half that time, democrats had control of the Senate. From 2013 to Jan 2015. And even when the GOP controlled congress, they passed nothing to reduce food stamps and Obama never proposed increasing food stamps. They came down by themselves.

No, the economy collapsed because of the housing bubble and risky speculation in wall street. This is the view of both left-wing and right-wing economists.

Food Stamps came down because the GOP policies created jobs. They went up because the Dems and Obama policies killed jobs....

Love Ramen noodles. Easy to carry, just filter and boil the water, and Ramen & jerky will keep you going. But my wife makes noodles from scratch at the house.

Dude - GDP is literally unchanged between the first three years of Trump and the last three of Obama - still under 3% growth. Eisenhower, Kennedy, Nixon,
Carter, Reagan, and Clinton all had better GDP numbers than Trump. Trump just ain't that special.

This is comedy gold. Look at how anxious the democrats are getting in here over poor people doing better. You know, the same poor people that vote for the scraps democrats throw at them every year to keep them voting. That isn't gonna happen with people getting out of poverty.
Now democrats ask yourselves this, if the only way to get votes is to purposely keep people poor and flood the country with illegals for more votes, maybe what you vote for isn't actually worth voting for?
    THINK! don't speak. THINK!

I grew up on Welfare and food stamps. Most people in my neighborhood were on Welfare. All of us always found a way to get what we wanted. Nice cars, furniture, video game systems, clothes, hair nails, jewelry, cigarettes, alcohol, etc. Most could afford to live without it. None would turn away easy money.
