More than 6 million Syrians lost their home.
More than 2 million Syrians refugees fled to other countries.
    More than 120,000 Syrians dead.
Who knows how many injured and maimed.
More than 1000 gassed to death in one chemical attack.

How much longer are you going to shut your eyes and ignore that tragedy ?

I have no desire to steal from my fellow men to interfere in your affairs.

Sorry, you're going to have to sort this mess out on your own.

There is a very large difference between ignoring something.....and understanding there is nothing you can do about it.

One must also consider the simple fact that no one really wants you there, most will blame you for the result, and it is likely you will simply kill innocent folks en mass......just as they are doing now, have done for a very long time, and will probably keep doing it regardless.

Why should anyone play in that freakin' minefield.

Probably for just as long as Rwanda, the Congo, Darfur and Cambodia were ignored. Nobody cares except for the geo-politicians, spin doctors and military-industrial head honchos.

Look, if everybody in your country really is against Assad then just call a General Strike, that will unseat most governments in a day.

You won't because you know you only have a small minority of fanatical extremists and al-Qaeda imports behind you. The majority don't want to make their woman all wear burkhas, stone them for adultery, cut off thieve's hands and be forbidden to watch tv or listen to music.

To put it more in perspective for those in the USA it's as if the Branch Davidians were violently trying to overthrow our government and Russia wanted to help them

The only reason Obama wants to help is because he said that stupid red line business and he's now hoping the Congress will bail HIM out. A diplomat should NEVER say anything in the way of a general limitation, it's practically an invitation for someone to go past it.

Especially nowadays, when I can make a nearly undetectable fake of Oprah screwing Tom Cruise and have it on Youtube in a half an hour.

Actually, the Israelis are encouraging some "Arabs" to "do their own dirty work" for Greater Israel.

The Syrians being referred to here, are the so-called Syrian rebels who are radical Islamic terrorists trying to overthrow Syria's conservative President Assad and place Syria under control of Obama's Muslim Brotherhood.

Obama should bring all the Syrian pro-terrorist rebels to the United States, which would translate into mucho new votes for the U.S. Democratic Party.

He is reported to be working on doing just that, along with the terrorists themselves.
Their war in America would have to be a bit different, as most houses and such are made out of wood and stucco and offer no protection.

The Syrians attempted to destroy Mecca in the 7th Century. They might just finish the job in the near future:

A holocaust, it is. I'm not ignoring it, but what are any of us supposed to do about it? We have no control over our government.

To even say that is just 'wrong' on every front.

    a) Why does every country on Earth run to the US for help in a time of crisis?

    b) If you're looking for strength, character, honesty and bravery in leadership... give it at least 3 more years in the US for that to return.

Nobody is forcing Syrians to kill each other. The killing seems to be their own idea.

All they have to do is stop killing each other.

This can be stopped very easily, but it will cost money.
    The Arab community is useless.
Russia only wants to sell as much MK47 as possible to all parties.
China is interested only with itself, human lives does not matter to it.
The west must step forward and perform.
    phase 1 (day 1):
Destroy long range missiles and air fields.
    phase 2 (day 1-3):
destroy all palaces, communication army head bunkers and government symbols.
    phase 3 (day 4-11):
declare amnesty to all military personnel who go away from military bases to secure zones.
Call all outside governments to stop backing different Syrian factions or they will be hold responsible for their acts.
    phase 4 (day 12-14):
destroy military might: air planes, anti air missiles, tanks, headquarter.
    phase 5 (next month-to 5 months):
Negotiate with the different factions to make some kind of new government. Can take Lebanon for an example when real democracy fails.
    Diplomacy, in case someone forget.
    phase 6 (month 6):
Assad and his fellows pay for their deeds.

The United States of America could have prevented the Saudi/Israeli war against Syria before it even started by saying "Hands off Syria!"
The United States of America committed itself to participating in the murder of the mother of Western Civilization, Europe, America and Christian Israel, which is Syria.
America could still stop the war by halting all aid to the terrorists and seriously telling the attacking nations to stop now, or get nuked.

But a lot of so called Americans know only 1 thing, do whatever the Israelis want, including the extermination of our "cousins German", Syria as described in:
    1
    Genesis 29:10
And when Jacob saw her, and knew her to be his cousin-german, and that they were the sheep of Laban, his uncle: he removed the stone wherewith the well was closed.

    2
    1 Kings (1 Samuel) 14:50
And the name of Saul' s wife, was Achinoam the daughter of Achimaas; and the name of the captain of his army was Abner, the son of Ner, the cousin german of Saul.

    3
    Colossians 4:10
Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, saluteth you, and Mark, the cousin german of Barnabus, touching whom you have received commandments; if he come unto you, receive him:
    Douay-Rheims Bible + Challoner Notes http://www.drbo.org/cgi-bin/s?t=0&q=cousins+German&b=drb

The people seeking war against Syria were described by "nature's God" a long time ago as un-believers in Moses and the Prophets, murderers of the Prophets, bad figs, not My sheep, of their fathers Cain & Amalek, and whose doctrines and traditions make the Word of God of none effect.

It's a tragedy for sure, but we can't stop it. We can only delay it for a while until we get tired of occupying that country. Iraqis are blowing each other up left and right these days and the Taliban is probably as strong now as it was before the invasion.

I tend to think that there is a lot of bravado in many insurgencies which leads to a lot of death because the insurgents believe the US will step in as soon as the stories get bad enough. Hell, we AIDED the Taliban when they were fighting the Soviet puppet government. There's a lesson for Syria in there somewhere.
