    I never said it did. Belief does not require scientific validity so, demanding it is futile but, many times beliefs are changed to hypotheses in order to be scientifically studied.

    It wasn't 'news' to Darwin who himself believed in God.

    The word 'animal' is derived from 'anima' which means 'soul.' However, there is a theological distinction between the soul of man and the soul of an animal according to the Pope. Mankind is charged (by God) to respect and revere the animal kingdom however the belief is that an animal 'soul' can perish whereas a man's soul does not perish. (according to scripture)

    Imagination and desire has often led us to new, unknown and sometimes formerly unbelievable proven, universal facts.
