    Well we've gone over this.

I don't think the "bad" aspect is up for debate. Neither does PatriotNews, and apparently many other Trump type right wingers. They all, or many of them, agree it's "bad". Or so they say.

But he thinks education will solve it. So seems like a good test between the two of you to see if education is indeed the answer.

Btw, you didn't answer which of you is superior, you or your wife.

Everything is up for debate. If you don't want to go there, that's fine. I win by default.

Here's an idea (and this goes out to Crank, too).

Start a thread!! It's free. Gee, you'd think superior people would be smart enough to figure that out. So rustle up a debate on whether white supremacy is good or bad. I was willing to let PatriotNews "educate" you in this one as he said he could cure it, but I guess he lost interest. But if you start your own, I'm sure some folks will show up to debate you. Or maybe they'll just derail the whole thing and claim whatever you think is awesome and right doesn't even exist or isn't worthy of discussing. Anyway, give it a shot.

Btw, who's superior, you or your wife?

This one isn't about whether it's good or bad.

You already lost because you're off topic.

Why are you so afraid to start a thread?

Btw, why are afraid to answer whether it's you or your wife who is superior?

Stormfront is irrelevant now, as 4chan took its former place. It's not white supremacy which made them mass murderers. What Anders Breivik, Dylann Roof, and Brenton Tarrant had in common is that they were victims of bullying, making them mentally unstable. The problem is that they didn't have the guts to go after who actually bullied them and vent their anger at blacks or Muslims.

Well no doubt it starts with vulnerable people...

but the white supremacist groups are not innocent bystanders.

A Former Neo-Nazi Explains Why Hate Drew Him In — And How He Got Out
    https://www.npr.org/2018/01/18/5787...lains-why-hate-drew-him-in-and-how-he-got-out

    a quote from the article:

I do think that there were a lot of concerted strategies in the '80s and '90s that we're seeing take hold today. We recognized in the mid-'80s that our edginess, our look, even our language, was turning away the average American white racist — people we wanted to recruit. So we decided then to grow our hair out, to stop getting tattoos that would identify us, to trade in our boots for suits and to go to college campuses and recruit there and enroll, to get jobs in law enforcement, to go to the military and get training and to even run for office. And here we are, 30 years later, and we're using terms like "white nationalist" and "alt-right" — terms that [the white supremacists] came up with, by the way. They sat around and said, "How can we identify ourselves to make us seem less hateful?" ...

You act like a few thousand racists scattered across the country in tiny pockets is a force to be reckoned with. Liberals and MSM keep stroking their egos by reminding them how privileged they are to have white skin. What's worse is than pretending they're privileged, is pretending they're powerful. Bullies thrive and flourish on your irrational rears, and alarmism.

They whine like little lost boys about blacks and Muslims but they shoot schoolkids and drive over girls.

Don't mention the murderous sprees enacted by these scant few, un-worrisome, tucked-away people.

Let's laugh instead about how 4chan nazis post dumb memes to troll progressives and waffle incoherently and ignorantly about how it's always someone else's fault when things turn a little difficult for them after their fire-starter routines go south.

What is there to say about violent extremism? Evil deeds carried out by evil doers isn't a new phenomenon. There are hundreds of thousands of minorities who are incarcerated or on parole for violent crimes. You'd be up in arms if anyone stereotyped the entire community, or portrayed that minority violence was part of a collective ideology. I have no idea what 4chans net traffic #'s are, but I'd bet they get more clicks from "interwebz police" than subscribers.

This whole game the right plays that these right wing "bad" things are the liberals fault....

Where did you all get that? I keep seeing it over and over and over.

    So I will ask again....

does that mean that the right is responsible for all the things they think are "bad"?? Because they complain about almost everything day in and day out. All they are doing is giving that stuff power with their irrational "rears".

The only thing the right refuses to whine about are racist, bigoted white supremacists.....UNLESS they want to claim the left are the racists, in which case, it's worthy of complaining about (and apparently giving them more power in the process).

You CRIED about staying on point. What the "right" thinks, or what you think the "right" always does? "I" said MSM, and alarmism like yours, empowers bullies and elevate their status. The violent loons publish manifestos because they are playing to an audience, including 4chan police who broadcast their rhetoric. You

    It is on point.

The idea that "alarmism" in regard to white supremacy empowers them is ridiculous. And the only time I see this sort of claim is from the right when all of a sudden they don't care about whatever it is, or they support it. If it's something they are against, they "alarm" the crap out of everyone.

" How come the MSM doesn't cover people knocking other people's red hats off! That's the real danger in society".

I seem to recall Trump making a big deal out of saying things like "Islamic terrorism". Guess he's just empowering them because they crave attention.

The fact is, people (the president and his base) don't call out the morons that are whites supremacists enough. Barely at all. This thread is frickin proof.

    Why? We all know why.

Right back to your strawmen. Can you momentarily quit stereotyping please? If I search your profile will I find that you pored over the NZ lunatics manifesto, and posted excerpts? MSM seemed obsessed with 1 in particular.

    It's not a strawman.

I find it strange that Trump (and apparently his base) show such little concern for white supremacy.

It simply doesn't make sense. They get upset about Antifa, people knocking off red hats, Muslims, Mexicans, you name it, they are alarmed about it.

Except white supremacy and far right white supremacist terrorism. Then it's a shrug, or it doesn't exist, or they suggest it's not bad, it's good...or they blame the left for empowering them, or they say the left are the "real" white supremacists.

That has been my experience in this thread and on this forum.

Of course it's a strawman. You and I are having a direct exchange. I'm not invoking "red hat" assaults, or denying that an insignificant faction regard themselves as superior. I've addressed a significant reason that supremacists have that delusion of grandeur. I'm glad you like dancing, because I do enjoy holding your feet to the flamebait you're posting.

What you have stated as been stated by many others....

I find it strange that so many people have similar attitudes when it comes to white supremacy...all, in one or another, find it more important to argue with ME, or change the subject in one way or another, or find a way to blame the "left", instead of facing the problem of white supremacy.

So anyway, you said your cliches, so if you have nothing more to say on the topic, than I'm sure there are more pressing things for you to concern yourself with...

I haven't assigned blame. I've made observations. White supremacy is a delusion of grandeur, and opponents of white supremacy unintentionally reinforce, and validate that delusion. You've politicized the problem, and in doing so have blatantly portrayed supremacy as being a "mainstream" ideology, when it isn't. We have hyperbole being rebuked by hoaxes and it won't solved the problem. It's only generated the publicity and division the lunatics desire.

There is a reason for that. The left wing has labeled everybody to the right of Stalin as a white supremacist up to and including mainstream black conservatives like Candace Owens and Islamic reformists like Maajid Nawaz.

Out of curiosity, what is the perfect amount of "diversity" in society?
    1% whites?
    99% muslims?

Give us the number you are looking for. If California and New York are any indication, you prefer a caste system with a few white/asian elites ruling over a mass of poor undereducated brown people..... that is what the progressives have created in those states. Why do you think this a good thing for America?

Thanks for responding. Did you notice no leftist even tried to answer the question?

The drive to excel may be part of it. A belief in one's own superiority may have been part of it as well. If you think you're #1, you have to go out there and prove it. (Interestingly, the opposite also occurs, as in the case of John McEnroe, if you think you're not good enough, you go out there and try to prove you are, but get very angry when things don't go your way.) I found Niall Ferguson's The West and the Rest an interesting take on it. Another writer I reference in my book ascribed the difference to the Western habit of looking forward and the Asian habit of looking backward. Personally, I give a lot of credit to capitalism. Capitalism made the West rich, and riches made the West strong. The drive to make a buck (figuratively speaking) is what drove the early European explorers, after all. Columbus wasn't looking for a new world, he was looking for a short cut to India and the spices that didn't involve traipsing around the horn of Africa.

A thing I noticed long ago, was that according to history and what we have learned from science, humans first developed in Africa. Thus the population of that continent has a head-start over all others in terms of time to evolve and develop socially and industrially. However, it would also seem that until Europeans began to exploit natural resources, build plantations and such- the indigent African population had advanced vary little. One would have to ask where they would be today if no foreign intrusion at all had ever occurred- but even with it, one would have to say that Africa has not come very far. At the same time, Africa is a continent rich in natural resources and variety of terrain, which is to say that opportunity existed in abundance.

We have civilizations close to Africa that are exactly the opposite, which had advanced dramatically long long ago- such as ancient Greece, home to architects, philosophers, artists and many things that today are still world treasures. We have had many civilizations develop advanced cultures and a grasp of sciences when there was no outside injection of such ideas. The Egyptians, the Aztecs and Mayas for example developed advanced cultures totally on their own. Until the influx of western modernization into Panama, the tallest building in Central America for centuries was the Mayan temple at Tikal in Guatemala, at 212 ft- and it was built around 1500 years ago. At the same time in South American jungles, we have tribes of natives that live the same as they did thousands of years ago.

A belief in superiority assumes you are aware of other cultures, something to compare yourself to. The exception is to compare yourself to others of your own group, but I think a major advancement of a society does not lie there. The Aztecs and Myans seemed to know nothing of the world outside their jungles, and the people of their own kind. There were no doubt different social bands among them, but they appear to have been pretty cohesive. We are just now discovering that the building and evidence of communities we have discovered the jungle of the Myans were actually just the tip of the iceberg, and such cities were often 10 times or more larger than we had known- that there were paved roadways between cities indicating an ongoing trade structure between areas of civilization. It's been found that the Aztecs thrived in areas where our scientist thought no meaningful levels of agriculture could have existed to feed them. It was found that the Aztecs had discovered a way to enrich the jungle soils with charcoals burned in a special way- and had developed hundreds of acres of fertile soil by blending it in, and were farming quite successfully.

I tend to think that what I call the drive to excel is the key. The desire to know more, to learn and understand more, to control your own environment rather than be at the mercy of it. In my experience, I've met people with a hunger to learn- and you can't stop them. I've also met people with no interest in learning, and you can't help them. All in the same civilization, same community, even same family. I think that more than anything else, this is a cultural thing that starts in very early childhood by environment, and gets inbred into some- and left out in others. However it is not what we are given, it is what we want, what we choose to be that changes life. The percentage of such people in a culture is going to change the average. If we reward the pursuit of wisdom or make fun of it, we are going to get a different society.
