Killing something is not necessarily murder. IF a fetus is ever deemed a legal person with rights a pregnant woman would have every right to defend herself from injury....and kill the fetus.

I am neither Pro Choice nor Pro Life because both terms respresent a very Statist view of law, something that I, as true friend of self ownership, absolutely despise. What both sides share is the OCD-esque obsession with microplanning everyone else's life to fit their worldview which - unsurprisinglyn- causes a lot of conflict. For me, it is obvious that abortion is not as much of a legal issue as it is a cultural one - We live in a hypersexualised time where not only media, but even school exposes us to sex from a very young age. Women are objectified and thanks to technological advancement and degeneration of norms, men no longer need to take responsibility because having short term partners is neither costly nor risky and women who engage in short term relations are celebrated as "liberated" and "independent". The issue of abortion is not whether the fetus is a life or not, but rather why it is such a heated topic in the first place. A truly functioning society with a healthy outlook on relations, love, commitment and family would not need an abortion debate because in such society, the question would be uninteresting as the procedure would primarily be used in cases that even Pro Lifers would agree are justified.
You obviously missed my point. There are very few women that would do a late term abortion but they do exist and there should be a law that charges them with murder if they do it.

Most Pro Choicers too believe that there is - and should be - restrictions in form of a time limit that regulates when abortion should be legal which means they too are in it to control other people's bodies.
