5.2.2. People have the right to agree or disagree with a matter if and only if they fall subject to the matter (http://derive-the-law.blogspot.com).

A baby doesn't have the ability to agree or disagree. So, in account of their inability to choose to live or not, we give the benefit of the doubt and choose that they disagree with ending their life. Certain arguable contradictions might include using the morning-after pill.

It's a blog.....a blog that uses the word "karma"

Abortion has nothing to do with a "baby".

If a fetus is a "person" it has no right to harm a woman and she has the right to defend herself.

It's OK. I've made up a covenant that says abotion is justifiable in some circumstances. Mine also says it overrules all other covenants. Sorry.

99.9 percent of all abortions are due to a total lack of personal responsibility. These are highly irresponsible women, and we should concentrate on that, while keeping abortion legal. But it ain't cool to point out people as being dangerously irresponsible. You might hurt their little egos. Ah, much better to kill the unborn.

Perhaps we need to tie responsibility to the right of having kids. If you are irresponsible, totally lacking in it, perhaps the abortion should also be a tube tying operation as well. For if you cannot be responsible in procreation, you lose the right to procreate. That would be better than murdering millions of the unborn just because a female shirks her personal responsibility. If we convict a child molester, we don't let them around kids after that.

apart from being an opinion piece your "blog" misses the fact that all people have the right to defend themselves against non consented injuries even if the subject of that defence disagrees.

Really, please provide your peer reviewed stats for the 99.9% figure, or was it one you plucked out of thin air.

Irresponsible because you see it that way.

Point it out all you like, still doesn't change the fact that what you consider irresponsible has no bearing or impact on other people, your opinion on what is responsible or irresponsible is exactly that .. your opinion.

    Why?

    Who decides .... you?

Ah right I see, more attempts to control others based on your personal perspective.

Hmm, so for any woman found to have "murdered" her fetus you would support the death penalty in the states that have it would you?

    Very different things.

I defined karma in chapter 2. It's the equalizing or balancing principle that we all accept.

And I agree... If the fetus poses harm the mother - it's either one or the other and since the mother is the only one who can choose, she could have the right to have the fetus aborted.

It most absolutely does address that. Look at chapter 4 - it says we agree to make agreements in places of disagreements. That coupled with the right to agree or disagree with things directly affecting us yields the following right (from chapter 5):

5.0 - A person has the right to act any way they want as long as the action:

5.0.1. does not subject a person that disagrees with it,

5.0.2. is not intended to affect a person that doesn't want to be affected by it

5.0.3. does not violate the terms of an agreement.

In order for it to be a covenant, it must be logically proven or agreed upon by all parties involved. Sorry

Disregard my last post to this quote. If you can pinpoint a source that is at fault for an injury, the repercussions fall on that source. If there's no identifiable source, that is a triviality. No one is really at fault, but the person deserves care and attention

and I derived it from agreeable observations - what part are you claiming is opinion?

Actually it doesn't address it at all. Nothing you have written addresses the fundamental right of a person to defend themselves against non consented injuries regardless of whether the person causing the injuries disagrees or is affected by that right.

    - - - Updated - - -

The fetus is the source of the injury.

Go ahead and point out that people are irresponsible. Afterwards, post some statistics reflecting how much this course of taking fake action has affected the birth and abortion rates.

Are child molesters prohibited from being around a pregnant woman's uterus?

Having an unplanned pregnancy means a woman is irresponsible? That means half of all women are irresponsible since half of all pregnancies in this country are unplanned. Of course those men must be irresponsible as well, so they had better get vasectomies too, don't ya think?

an ACTUAL baby, yes, a fetus, however, is not a baby until it's born, by definition.
