    In other words, if she doesn't want a child, she shouldn't bother getting into a relationship because it would be wrong for her to have sex because she might get pregnant.

    Is that the only way to avoid getting pregnant? The ignorance of the abortion promoters here is epic.

    Well now that is just absurd. Getting pregnant is a beautiful thing, it is how we all came to be. Deciding to intentionally kill your child in utero, now that is obviously wrong.

    Why does abortion have to be legal for that to happen? Furthermore, what is the woman's motivation to use them if abortion is legal?

    Lifers would prefer that a woman not have sex at all, acting like a nun. Women will have sex because having sex is normal and natural.

    The world's lowest abortion rate is in the Netherlands where abortion is legal and contraceptives are readily available, and covered as part of the Dutch medical system...further proof that America's "pro-lifers" are more interested in demonizing and controlling women than pursuing policies that actually lower abortion rates.

    You may have the wrong impression when it comes to ethics; all I am claiming, is that it is more ethical to provide more choices that could prevent the need for abortion than it is to merely criminalize the medical procedure of abortion.

    I don't neccessarily disagree, but I reject the idiotic notion that broader availability of effective birth control can only be accomplished with legal abortion at will in place.
