ROTFLMAO! Excellent joke, oh wait, you're serious, aren't ya. Good grief, I loved the silly statement that the "ones that are already out there could be used at gun ranges, but not a crime, and not for self-defense (spelling correction free)", do you even realize how OFF that sounds?

I support jailing anyone who would ban any gun that civilian police use, for civilian ownership. Those who would take guns away from other americans should be seen as robbers and judged accordingly. in fact gun banners are in conspiracy with criminals and are a threat to the safety of honest citizens

They should serve MORE time because their words are assaulting my personal security. They would rather have me beaten and possibly killed instead of having the opportunity and tools to prevail over my attacker. Their hands should be bound for trying to assault my personal security and liberty. To top it all off, I AM A SPECIAL SNOWFLAKE AND BECAUSE I POST (*)(*)(*)(*) ON A MESSAGE BOARD, I NEED THIS TO HAPPEN NOW!

What about the U.S. Code the U.S. Militia Laws ?

All American males between the age of 17 to 45 are members of the Militia no matter if they like it or not, it's the law.
Those over 45 are still able to serve in the Militia if they choose so.

Any American male who doesn't have a military type rifle and ammunition in his possession isn't honorably serving in the Militia or serving America. It's called dereliction of duty as an American.

None of this makes any sense. The overwhelming number of gun crimes are committed with illegal handguns. If they can get an illegal handgun they can get an illegal magazine. Allowing 17 rounds is pointless. The vast majority of crimes do not result in 17 rounds being used. Changing a magazine is NOT as difficult as you seem to think.

Why allow 17 rounds for handguns, but only 7 rounds for rifles, which are used in crime much more rarely, and have a greater need for high capacity magazines? None of your restrictions are at all based on reasonable policy, they're just conjecture and fear.

Prohibiting the use of firearms for self defense is fortunately blatantly unconstitutional. You can at least make your arguments on background checks and the such, but there is no grey area here.

It all comes back to this singular fact:

CCW permit holders are almost never charged with a crime. They are innocent parties, but they're always the ones you go after.

I live under a system you'd like. 10 round maximums, self-defense is not a genuine reason to own a gun, etc. More than that, you cannot anticipate any method of self-defense. The law has disarmed us to such a severe degree that even a baseball bat is a prohibited weapon. A woman? Better gain some pounds and take self-defense classes, because handguns, mace and tasers are all illegal.

Accept your rape. Say thankyou to your rapist. Ring 000 afterwards and a bunch of handgun carrying cops who can't shoot for (*)(*)(*)(*) will come and write a report on your rape.

Let's swap citizenships. I'll move to the US, you can move to Australia. Then we're both happy!

You live in Florida. (*)(*)(*)(*), you have no idea how lucky you are.

If every single incident of illegal immigration is counted as a single act of assault against the united states, then the country has been assaulted more than eleven million times.

Nope. You are wrong. Most people are supporting less gun control these days.

There are plenty of countries you can move to that will have gun control laws more to your liking.

And some believe that no one outside of law enforcement should be allowed to own firearms. They are not given free rein to continue posting such nonsense and go unchallenged.

of preventing government oppression. Had the creators of those documents foreseen the technological advances in military weaponry, there probably would have been a clause that stipulated that citizens had the right to bear not just arms, but significantly equal arms to those available to the state (meaning Federal Government).

Sadly, many uniformed today let their own phobias and media fed misconceptions dictate their willingness to be subjects and usher in the exact tyranny the creators of this nations fundamental guiding documents address in them.

Fools are destined to repeat past follies.
who is to say what others own, or can manufacture
    I am reminded:
"On every occasion [of Constitutional interpretation] let us carry ourselves back to the time when the Constitution was adopted, recollect the spirit manifested in the debates, and instead of trying [to force] what meaning may be squeezed out of the text, or invented against it, [instead let us] conform to the probable one in which it was passed."
    - Thomas Jefferson

Which, I might add, answers your question, most succinctly
