Actually, the real Covington scandal was that Catholic boys were wearing MAGA hats

I was simply poihtingnout your keep on using Christian instead of catholic. And as far as the Catholics go that is up to them what they decide to do. From what I have seen with the Catholics I no non of them are devout. There are many things they do that the pope is against. And with you not being a catholic, I really don't understand why you are so concerned about any of this. I truly don't care about any of this. I just simply did not like how you kept on calling the popemthe leader of Christianity, had you not paid that I would have moved on. And you simply keep missing my point the pope is the head of the catholic church not Christians.

The corruption began as soon as a Roman emperor got a say in what was and was not included in the bible.

If you have not converted to the Catholic church, that is, if you are not a Catholic, you cannot be excommunicated. Basically, if you're not in they cannot put you out.

Do you have evidence that Trump was ever a Catholic?

There is no way to prove that wrong. The end will never come for any human. Human existence can completely dissolve yet time will always be a constant.

I don't understand why so many make this mistake when it's clearly explained on the OP.

    Read it and try again....

And then you can tell the pope to just go get snapped. Because if you're not Catholic who the hell cares what he says? He ain't nothing.

For the same reason that a first generation copy of something is better than a tenth generation.

From what I can gather if the Catholic church does not make a specific statement that a person is vitandi, then that person is assumed to be tolerati and may attend Mass but not receive Communion (Eucharist), take up the offering, usher, or do any of the serving functions lay people do at Mass. They are simply to stay in the pew and not leave their seat during the Mass.

But like nearly all other large institutions of diverse kind, the laws of the catholic church are verbose, not plain at all, hollow-headed, and most difficult to obtain a plain, simple answer from.

Great thing about America....people are allowed to worship however they want and no one...not even the Pope can tell them otherwise. As such if those boys want to follow the Catholic faith while disregarding what the Pope says then they are allowed to. And there isn't a damn thing the Pope can do about beyond spouting more words.

In fact that is one of the main reasons that the founding fathers of this country put the right to freedom of religion in the first amendment...because the Catholic church had been persecuting those that didn't directly adhere to Catholicism.

Looks to me like you are trying to do the same. All because they dared to wear a MAGA hat.

A person is "vitandi" if they are excommunicated by the Pope, even if it's Ad Jure and in Public excommunication.

That is true if they're Catholic. But not if they are "rebellious subjects of the Church". Because the Church grants rebelious subjects jurisdiction "for the good of society". So Catholics can interact with them, and they can even attend service. But this benefit does not apply to the excommunicated.
