Biden doesn’t even take questions before he runs off for nappy time. Biden is more dedicated to evacuating himself from his own press conferences than evacuating stranded Americans from behind enemy lines!

I have to shake my head as he speaks and wonder does he REALLY believe these totally fallacious proclamations he is making. We can't believe anything coming out of this White House.

Has the Biden administration announced they are all out? When asked and they reply thousands but they don't know how many thousands they are lying? Are all the tapes of phone calls and emails I'm hearing and reading about from those trapped inside fake?

It is an insult to the People of the United States when he turns his back on us and refuses to answer questions about his actions as Command in Chief in charge of our national security. It is totally unacceptable that he do so. When are more on the left going to start calling him on it and force some transparency and HONESTY out of him.

LOL! You said the same thing before the debates, that he wouldn't show up and take a nap in the basement. Well, guess what, he did show up and trounced your guy. So, I think you lost all credibility on the matter.

I don't defend going into Afghanistan in the first place. The UN Security Council made the first move to control terrorists there in 1999, then in 2001 (911), the attack on the US had everybody demanding we strike back against the nations harboring terrorists. Wasn't G W Bush's idea, I think he had little choice given public demand. That however is NOT the issue here. When Trump left office the troop count was down to 2500, the transition was on track and stable, and a plan was in place to complete the withdrawal. Biden scrapped that plan, as they did everything Trump, regardless of validity. The problem is that they did not have a better plan, possibly no plan at all, and no expertise to handle the job and no guts to stand up and control things. The chaos is the result of those facts, not what Bush did 20 years ago. It would be nice if nobody ever created a problem for Biden to deal with as a distant successor- but at this very moment, Biden is creating problems that will have far greater and more devastating impact on the nation for someone else to clean up. What others did is their fault; what Biden does or fails to do is HIS fault

Biden is in so far over his head he can't see daylight- and impaired enough he doesn't even realize that.

That was a statement from a military officer on the ground; his estimate. Fact is we don't know- and the Biden administration is not releasing anything factual. We do know they advised Americans that they can't come and get them and they not try to get to the airport; they should "shelter in place", meaning- every man for himself, you are on your own. That sound remarkable like abandonment to me.

The pentagon says they are unsure how many; the New York Times said 10,000 to 15,000 as of August 22nd. These are probably contract employees in the many public and military projects the US had funded as well as advisors, trainers and families in some cases. Part of the problem IS that we don't know for sure- but it seems nobody doubts that there are a great many.

Wrong…. They were never Taliban roads….if you don’t think The US could not drive from Kabul to Bagram because the Taliban would stop then you don’t know what you are talking about.
Trump “offered” to blow them and their villages to smithereens at the very beginning of their negotiations… hardly a surrender…
