After DeSantis pushback, College Board drops Critical Race Theory from AP course (Update)

The left doesn’t actually understand what’s being studied which is why they can’t see the racism. But regardless, society does and until the day comes the left can be trusted to actually do what these classes are claimed by the left to be…they gone. This is a good thing for everyone.

This is a big L for truth. The content that DeSantis says he takes issue with isn't even in the course.

Here's what really happened. DeSantis said "I need to do something that makes republicans very happy. I know. I'll do something anti-black." Then he directed his minions to make up things they don't like about the AP course so he could justify killing it.

 

It's always disingenuous with this stuff. Nobody is saying you can't have a book they are saying the tax payer won't buy it for you.

If you want to study something that's stupid and wrong you can.

I think the anger comes from the idea that if it isn't taught in school it isn't legitimate. In which case it belongs in school as much as flat Earth or creationism does. That's why the school blinked. It's not worth fighting for because it's bunk.

After we have been repeatedly assured that there is no CRT being taught at the K-12 level. Weird!

 

I understand why they blinked. Their course, as first proposed, was pure wokeness.

 

The very definition of the "down low" was created because of the black history that attacked and abused LGBT folks in the black community. Somehow, adding a module that either celebrates this, or condemns this either way is indoctrinate, and the college board was right to remove it regardless.
