you are incorrect. The Constitution greatly limits their powers

This is true, but there are a lot of crimes that the Federal Government can not touch. Such as assault, rape, even murders if they do not occur on Federal Property, or cross state lines. Take the case of Gerod Woodberry. He kept robbing banks right after he was released without bail. The Police ended up getting the feds to arrest him, and charge him in federal courts. They only reason that the Feds could intercede was that Woodberry had robbed banks in North Carolina before moving to New York. Of course the NYDA issued a protest.

Do you know who started selling tanks to SWAT? It was Bill Clinton. The program is still ongoing. That means that it was allowed by the Clinton, Bush Jr, and Obama administrations.

It's not a "total nonrecognition of authority" since the riots don't seem to be going on at all anymore, and this has been seen lots before. since it has happened quite frequently throughout history whenever governments have killed people too much. The American thing is that there is a distinct racial component, and the white power structure gets really upset when the blacks object violently to anything, even being killed

We've had the police killing more and more blacks over the past few years and this latest Floyd business is the proverbial straw.

institutional racism...had drastic different sentencing for drugs often found in poorer areas. such as crack. which impacted minorities way a more.

the dems knew this too...Ms Clinton defend the law by referring to african americans as super predators

Yup. Mass incarceration worked, just like Joe Biden told us it would.

Look at you trying to be clever! By all means do figure out more fun ways to bring some partisan hackery into the discussion.

But yes, the 13,500 National Guard, Army, Marine and Federal LEO reinforcements and the 12,000 arrests did manage to finally bring it to an end: after Korea Town was all but destroyed.

Bush took action on Day 2 and authorized a Federal response to Wilson's request for assistance on Day 3.

Wilson responded to Bradley's request for National Guard on Day 1.

Couple of years before Clinton's crime bill, wasn't it? Probably one of the factors that influenced the legislation. Clinton moved to the right of the Republicans on Crime and Trade. His success with this strategy pissed them off so much that they tried to impeach him for a blowjob.

Whatever. The basic fact stands that mass incarceration decreased violent crime whatever its other defects. Democrats want to undo that now. I think it is a bad idea.

Trump was too busy warding off fake propaganda claims of Russian collusion, obstruction, Ukraine collusion, racism and the thousands of other events/situations that the left and the media constantly hinder and mock.

Yeh mon, and insurrections too brah!

Do you actually believe that the Constitution protects individuals or even states from Federal Authority?

Be sure to keep a copy of it in your pocket to show to the FBI or the CIA or the ATF?

Just silly. The US Federal government can do whatever it wants until it finds itself under some form of resistance a bit more effective than the US courts.

ok, Trump owns this now, so let's see how he does, will he stop any crime in these cities, we will see how republicans handle it

the only way to end the crime is to legalize drugs, stop funding gangs
