Alaska Gov. Mike Dunleavy (R) accepted former President Donald Trump’s reelection endorsement, which is contingent upon him dissing current Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R).

Trump extended the conditioned endorsement Tuesday, saying while he supports Dunleavy’s “strong and consistent” conservative leadership, Murkowski has been “very bad for Alaska.”

    P
resident Trump was right to announce his enforcement in that manner. The Governor is right to accept it as it was structured. Senator Murkowski is a complete establishment RINO. She should have been gone in 2010. All RINO’s who voted to impeach or convict our President on Trumped up charges after he left office need to go.

It’s great that we are remaking the GOP in Trump’s America first populist nationalist coalition of multi racial working and middle class heartland Americans and no longer in the image of the old GOP establishment.

Gop should definitely reform themselves in the image of a man who’s never gotten more votes than his democratic opponent

His policies and his goals for America and the American people are the right ones. As more African Americans and Hispanic Americans move to the GOP as a result of our transformation, that will never happen again.

You say that as people run, not walk, away from liberal states while current democrats are choosing to not run for re-election. 75 million votes is nothing to sneeze at, especially since your side would have us believe that Trump voters are violent insurrectionusts. How would Biden stop 75 million armed trump supporters intent on using their weapons of mass destruction on mostly peaceful man bun soy boys?

Most of us probably. Doesn’t mean we think you should have an AK at the mall with no background check

If Murkowski ISN'T Re-Elected, she will be replaced by a Democrat...
    Trump actually wants that?

Most gun murders aren’t committed with AKs or at malls. Wanna take a stab at who commits the most murders?

Thanks to Brandon most democrats aren’t very popular right now. Even Harris is struggling for positive press and the left wing media ain’t giving it to her.

If Murkowski loses the GOP Primary, she will just run as an Independent.

Thus, putting Alaska's voters in a position to re-elect her or give the seat to a Democrat.

No she is not. Only if whoever wins the democrat nomination drops out and democrats write her in like what happened in 2010 against the GOP nominee then would Murkowski get back in.

If she loses the primary she won’t win as an independent. She and the democrat would divide the center left and the GOP nominee would win. I’m not sure she legally could run as an independent after losing a primary. Many states have sore loser laws to prevent that. Last time she ran as a write in after losing the GOP nomination and the democrat dropped out of the race.

You say that with glee in your voice. Are you itching for a civil war?
And stop trying to conflate repubs with trump cultists. They are a rump of the American electorate and their seditious bloodlust will not inspire or frighten real Americans. If they choose violence, they will be treated like any other criminal.

Must admit that I did not know about the sore loser laws.
Really pretty disgusting laws designed solely to make sure that those in power don't lose that power. Voted in in 48 states, proving that both republicans and democrats want to make sure they never lose their stranglehold on monopoly of votes. Also interesting to note that this law does NOT apply to presidential candidates. If one recalls, Trump certainly refused to promise support of any republican should he lose the primaries. The sore loser law also makes it much harder for moderates to be heard, as if even they are popular with the state as a whole, they have to win the primaries.
Really shocked about this I must admit

    Who really knows?
At this point, anything is possible.
The Alaska GOP seems to be All-In with Trump.
The GOP Primary is going to be a Proxy War of Trump v McConnell.
It is going to be a very entertaining GOP Primary.
Kelly Tshibaka is a certifiable whackjob who makes Michelle Bachman look like Margaret Chase Smith.

Of course, having Female GOP Senate Candidate who is married to a Black man (and being Mother to a Multi-Racial Family) could be seen as a "plus" in some circles.

I guess we will find out together.:flagus:

Don't we have a section for elections and campaigns in these forums already?

Mods, will you please move this to the appropriate section?

    Thanks in advance.
