I imagine there were a few in the crowd who tought, "WTF. This chick doesn't know **** about the Constitution" The rest probably said "Cool".

 

She really has no clue.A product of liberal education system,poorly educated,not knowing facts.Not surprised.

Should she win her seat in November it will be a rude awakening for her. Her agenda is in direct conflict with the moderate socialist wing of the party and she will be told to "take her seat and shut up" After listening all day to debate on the issues on the floor, which will all be over her head, she will be instructed to go to the basement and work the phone lines and raise money for the DNC. I predict she will have zero bills or legislation that will be passed with her name as a sponsor.

The DNC has been taken over by radicals. They do not support American values, or ideas. They want to fundamentally transform the United States, and they will use any means ;necessary. They are simply at war with America.

Well, considering that the popular FDR couldn't get Congress to increase the size of the Supreme Court, I doubt that it will be changed in size.

 

FDR attempted to pack the Court with the
Judicial Procedures Reform Bill of 1937.

It never got through.

The Electoral College is outlined specfically in Art 2...her wanting to abolish it, would require a Constitutional amendment

 

9 is actually a pretty good number. Much more than that, and it will be hard to get any kind of ruling.

 

FDR wanted to stuff the court, though. He threatened increasing the number of SCOTUS justices at one point. Congress thankfully didn't agree.

Getting rid of the Electoral College is only possible by changing the Constitution, so suggesting getting rid of it by any way other than a constitutional amendment is unconstitutional. My guess is that she doesn't know that.

The intent with FDR's attempt to pack the courts was to threaten the justices, which apparently worked.

Just as the intent with smearing Kavanaugh was to threaten justices.

You're acting like packing the Supreme Court is a new idea emanating from Alexandria O-C, but you're missing the fact that the Republicans are actually DOING what you're complaining about, right now as we speak. Kavanaugh was the Republican's latest step in "packing the court" with conservative justices. Why is it OK with you that your side can do that but it's some kind of disgraceful, unAmerican act if the Democrats copy the Republican actions?

 

Thats not packing the court-which is adding MORE justices to shift its lean.

Democrats don't get to decide what a balanced court is-the VOTERS do.

THEY appoint the President, who then gets to pick.
