Trump wasn't President when Biden ran from Afghanistan. Biden had been in office for seven months and twenty days (longer than it took to plan, prepare and execute the massive invasion of Guadalcanal in WWII) when he ran from Afghanistan like a scalded dog, abandoning US citizens, allies and gifting billions of dollars of military equipment to the terrorist Taliban. Trump hadn't been Commander-in-Chief for a long time before Biden ran away.

Heck, we're INVOLVED with Sri Lanka. But we didn't start sending endless billions of dollars to Ukraine until Putin invaded... under Biden's watch.

Running away like a cowardly dog is what Biden did. That way of "ending a war" never ends well for the coward or his country.

 

I never blamed America at all. Putin always wanted to invade Ukraine. Biden's cowardice simply set the stage and emboldened him.

And that's the point. Trump did not agree to pull out on the condition of a cease fire. The agreement called for a cease fire to be discussed. THAT'S what Trump left Biden with.

 

The "deal" was "quid pro quo"... "you do THIS and we will do THAT". When the Taliban failed to take a step to establish a ceasefire, the deal was over... done... left the building. NO QUID... NO PRO QUO.
