Remarkable post. To believe Trump has made us "respected" in the world defies logic, data, facts, and reality. I think a wake up moment for those that believes such ideas should have come when Trump was laughed at in the UN. One may not dig the UN but that's a pretty good indicator of how the rest of the world sees us.

The idea that Trump made NATO members to pay up is stuff and nonsense. NATO members don't "pay up" for anything but they do invest in their militaries. That increased investment is right on track as agreed to in a contract signed with Obama in 2016. Trump has done nothing, nothing at all, to make the world respect us. North Korea? A joke. Dump the TPP? A disaster. Ignore the Paris Climate Accords? A big one finger salute. Abandoning the Kurds? A national disgrace.

Most of the Western World has now written off the United States as a reliable partner and are looking to the EU to take over. Outside the US, nations are inking deals with China and Russia instead of America because of our "America First" attitude. Internationally, Trump is seen as a moron (he informed India's PM that they were lucky India didn't border China!).

Where is that wall? He promised to repeal and replace Obamacare, did he do that? He promised to eliminate the national debt in 8 years but instead increased it by a trillion dollars. Did he bring back the coal industry, did he revitalize the automobile industry, did he help any of the farmers with his trade tariffs?
