You're right and I never thought about it before. I went to high school in the U.S. and I remember there were the hot rod guys and the "jocks". They both had their female followers. But then there were the "geeks" and I didn't realize there were no girls for them. I guess I assumed they shared with the "jocks".

No, you can't say that anymore. Let's exchange e-post addresses now before the admin or PC people get wind of it and toss you off the forum.

Actually, I've been a consistent advocate of sexual equality for more than fifty years -- it's the big step forward that the human race took in the 20th Century, along with the somewhat less significant Colonial Revolution. But, being a Darwinian, I do believe males and females are different in various ways, including in ways of viewing the world.

    Here's a poem.for you:

    Rudyard Kipling (1865-1936)

    The Female of the Species

When the Himalayan peasant meets the he-bear in his pride,
He shouts to scare the monster, who will often turn aside.
But the she-bear thus accosted rends the peasant tooth and nail.
For the female of the species is more deadly than the male.

When Nag the basking cobra hears the careless foot of man,
He will sometimes wriggle sideways and avoid it if he can.
But his mate makes no such motion where she camps beside the trail.
For the female of the species is more deadly than the male.

When the early Jesuit fathers preached to Hurons and Choctaws,
They prayed to be delivered from the vengeance of the squaws.
'Twas the women, not the warriors, turned those stark enthusiasts pale.
For the female of the species is more deadly than the male.

Man's timid heart is bursting with the things he must not say,
    For the Woman that God gave him isn't his to give away;
But when hunter meets with husband, each confirms the other's tale—
The female of the species is more deadly than the male.

Man, a bear in most relations—worm and savage otherwise,—
Man propounds negotiations, Man accepts the compromise.
Very rarely will he squarely push the logic of a fact
To its ultimate conclusion in unmitigated act.

Fear, or foolishness, impels him, ere he lay the wicked low,
To concede some form of trial even to his fiercest foe.
Mirth obscene diverts his anger—Doubt and Pity oft perplex
Him in dealing with an issue—to the scandal of The Sex!

But the Woman that God gave him, every fibre of her frame
    Proves her launched for one sole issue, armed and engined for the same;
And to serve that single issue, lest the generations fail,
The female of the species must be deadlier than the male.

She who faces Death by torture for each life beneath her breast
May not deal in doubt or pity—must not swerve for fact or jest.
These be purely male diversions—not in these her honour dwells—
She the Other Law we live by, is that Law and nothing else.

She can bring no more to living than the powers that make her great
As the Mother of the Infant and the Mistress of the Mate.
And when Babe and Man are lacking and she strides unclaimed to claim
Her right as femme (and baron), her equipment is the same.

    She is wedded to convictions—in default of grosser ties;
Her contentions are her children, Heaven help him who denies!—
He will meet no suave discussion, but the instant, white-hot, wild,
Wakened female of the species warring as for spouse and child.

Unprovoked and awful charges—even so the she-bear fights,
Speech that drips, corrodes, and poisons—even so the cobra bites,
Scientific vivisection of one nerve till it is raw
And the victim writhes in anguish—like the Jesuit with the squaw!

So it comes that Man, the coward, when he gathers to confer
With his fellow-braves in council, dare not leave a place for her
Where, at war with Life and Conscience, he uplifts his erring hands
To some God of Abstract Justice—which no woman understands.

And Man knows it! Knows, moreover, that the Woman that God gave him
Must command but may not govern—shall enthral but not enslave him.
And She knows, because She warns him, and Her instincts never fail,
That the Female of Her Species is more deadly than the Male.

Of course, this is out of date now.

As am I. Unfortunately, the suffragette has been shoved aside and subdued by the feminist (the most detestable of creatures know to modern man .... or to women) who has stolen the banner from their cousins of gender and are hoisting it on high as though it were their own. The term "gender equality" is now a footnote in history.

Even without Darwin, the facts are before our eyes.

    Thank, you.

Exactly. It is not as if McDonald's wants everyone to starve so that they can gain costumers.

I must admit I watched some of the video, and the part where the Doc from the National Cancer Institute, Nicholas Patronas who now works for the National Institutes of Health, said that the tumors' resolved, and said it was 'impressive', 'unbelievable', this shook me.

But there still is so much shadiness behind this guy Burzynski. So many lawsuits, and cases of fraudulent behavior, etc. Most organizations, credible and widely recognized orgs, believe his antineoplaston therapy doesn't work. Plus there hasn't been any serious clinical testing from a randomized control trial. If this dude was so convinced his antineoplaston therapy worked, what the hell has taken so long for him to produce serious and extensive testing, documented evidence with a randomized control trial.

Also, I don't see how the big boys in the healthcare industry wouldn't be all over this therapy or 'cure' if it really cured cancer.

Keeping people alive won't be lucrative unless you can also keep them sick and having to require ongoing treatment. This is the MO of big pharma. The myriad of toxic cancer drugs, radiation, and surgeries only 'treat' (using the term very loosely), do not address the root causes of cancer, makes people sicker, and increases the likelihood for cancer relapse. This ensures many years more in billions in profit.

Big pharma/mainstream medicine does not administer treatments designed to kill you right away. Toxic drugs are designed to target symptoms (not the cause), and will make the patient sicker, for which even more drugs can be prescribed. Thus, the patient can live for years before dying, all the while remaining sick, needing constant drugs/treatment, and generating revenue for the medical industry.

By contrast, a cured patient could remain quite healthy for many years, which would generate zero revenue for the medical industry. If you were a greedy person, would you want to cure your patient and HOPE that some day he would become sick again to require the same expensive treatment? Or would you rather keep them sick for years, and generate years of revenue for you? Does it make sense now to you why medical schools teach only drugs & surgery, very little about nutrition...and nothing about prevention, naturopathic or other nontoxic therapies? (You can thank the Rockefeller family for that.)

Conventional medical care kills almost 800,000 annually.
Table Of Iatrogenic Deaths In The United States
    https://www.ourcivilisation.com/medicine/usamed/deaths.htm

And, chemotherapy alone has a dismal 5-year survival rate of only 2.1% in the U.S.
Note that the cancer 'survival' rate is easily skewed because: (1) Even if the cancer patient dies 1 day beyond the 5-year survival period, they would still be considered a 'success'. And (2) cancers can now be detected much earlier, making it more likely the patient will reach 5-year 'survival'. Keep in mind also that if a cancer patient dies using conventional medical care, they will blame the death on the cancer and not the treatment. They will commonly use words like, "He lost his long, courageous battle against cancer." (There's a reason why cancer patients look emaciated, pale, and have no hair. It's not the cancer making them look that way. It's the medicine.)

Now, how many patients has Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski's treatment harmed or killed?

I don't know who said it, but there's a quote that goes something like this: "If medical drugs can make a healthy person sick, then how can it make a sick person healthy?"

i've known a few people over the years that worked in famous cancer research facilities, and 8 year apart I heard the same complaint from both of them. The money is in Cancer treatment not cancer cure.

Yep. Money. Is that the way it's "supposed" to be? If it is I must have learned all of the wrong lessons in life.

There are hundreds if not thousands of different cancers. We have found that in breast cancer alone, there are several different varieties that have different treatments that work for them. There can be no cure for cancer, as cancer is not a single thing.

Exactly, just like the myth of the 100 mpg carbuerater. Any company that develops the cure for all cancers would destroy the competition. Makes no sense that anybody would block it.

I don't watch silly youtube videos. If they are serious about it, they would have put it in print.

The guy has been working on this stuff for 40 years, and hasn't yet been able to prove scientifically that it works.

And I suppose you'd know that despite the fact that you don't take anything seriously that isn't "in print".
