All leftists who mask their identities and commit violent assaults. That is the sole purpose, and intent of masked demonstration.

Yes, I do. If they are to stand for their idea, they have no reason to hide identity. First of all, it will be established by police anyway, second - they are not doing anything that is criminal, they are expressing their opinion. Their beliefs, their will. It is an honorable and responsible thing to do, at least if it is done properly - without violence and in civilized manner. A thing, that people should be proud of - not ashamed to point of hiding their face.

But if it's a public civil action, a rally of sorts, it literally is an almosy ultimate way of showing on which 'side' of politics you are, what cause are you standing for. There are moments when anonymous word worth more, and moments when it is crucial to show your face, when you talk. Because it is YOUR opinion, YOUR cause, YOUR words. That cannot be done masked. If people wear masks during such act, it is... It just falls apart. It takes one of basic parts - important parts - of the message out of it.

 

Rubbish. If we have laws against burning stuff in a city, and you break the law, this is not a police state. Antifa is subject to the law just as anyone else is. They are not special, above the law. Only Hillary is.

As a matter of reason, cloth usually does not produces toxic fumes, so as long as this flag was handled with care - it was relatively safe. Nasty view, I agree - but not a health hazard.

 

Understood, that it was not a controlled burn, yet it was not a big burn, and about pants and such you're stretching it too far. And IF he would've thrown it - then it would've been 10% worth of arrest. But if he didn't - he is not guilty.

 

And this is one of reasons why I don't understand masks. What if somebody, basically, breaks into a store and then runs into the masked crowd? I can't believe that no criminal yet used this tactic.

But point being, these people are not criminals. They are citizens of USA who express their view on something, or concern about something. It just.. Wrong to hide when you do something you consider being right and just.

 

The flag was only a prelude, don't kid yourself.

As they say in court, facts not established. Did you ID all of them yourself? Clearly, the participants are here, in this country. That doesn't logically mean, they are all citizens. I agree that wearing masks undermines their credibility. I assert here though that they are simply listening to their professorial mentors who wish perhaps that they had worn masks when they were young, in the riots in the 60s. When you put on that mask, you are essentially broadcasting your illegal intentions.
